A list of puns related to "Funny Dog Food"
They're Naan-Fudge-Kibble Tokens.
This is the first time Iβve really cracked up while watching HK lmao
>π¨ New food drop at @ToyotaCenter tonight!
> π Jumbo mac 'n cheese hot dog with fruit loops and bacon. > > π₯ Exclusively outside section 114. > > π€ Who's trying one?
Lmfao why?
There seems to be a knee jerk reaction whenever anyone talks about non-kibble diets in this sub. Whenever the topic gets broached I feel like the only response is "I only feed my dog either Purina PP or Science Diet because they've been formulated by veterinarians to fit AAFCO standards and you should too" or something similar. And that's all very fair, I do the same!
I understand the immediate distrust of "trendy" dog food diets (grain free is a bizarre one and was bad for our pup). But with regards to the fresh food brands that are out there now, I feel like I am genuinely curious in a good faith discussion about the benefits and drawbacks, and any emerging long term data, if there is any?
Also, with regards to Purina and Hill's, etc, they are obviously very trustworthy and have been for decades. It's what I feed my dog! But sometimes people reference certifications, studies, etc, and I don't consider myself some kind of woo-woo naturopath but my mind inevitably wanders over to the fact that the dog food industry is a billion dollar industry, and someone's gotta fund these studies.
I'm also inherently skeptical of "hype" of course, but I walked by this random lady in the street the other day and marveled at how spry her 12 year old pup was. She said he completely turned around after he started on a fresh food diet.
It's too expensive so I can't really start him on a prepackaged fresh food diet anyways, but I was wondering if anyone has any opinions on this beyond "just stick with the big brands"
