A list of puns related to "Funny Diy"
Homeowner brings in a slab of wood. Like, freshly cut, fungus and everything growing out of the bark. Nails sticking out. Itβs soaking wet in a bag. The wood was just cut Thursday and they put some Home Depot poly water based over it. Their cousin told them to not let the wood dry otherwise it will crack. They wanted to know if putting oil based poly over it would be better??? It was a mindfuck. After trying to repeat myself over 10 times, prep work and letting the wood dry, I just told them I canβt help them anymore.
I don't think he's funny. At all. Most of the videos where he is pointing out how dumb a DIY hack is, the original video was obviously a joke. Like this girl peeling a cucumber with her teeth. Or these guys pretending the don't know how to cross a puddle. Or this video where someone badly cuts a milk jug and spills everywhere. Everything is just over his head and it's not funny when his whole platform is based on missing the point. Everyone thinks he is suddenly the king of comedy. I hate it.
I think this trend started because of a Russian media company who wanted to just keep making videos based on easy DIYs then it turned into nonsense. Maybe their audience is just kids who find it funny and make money from the ads they play, but the amount of this becoming more popular in tiktok and youtube needs to stop. The people who make them act all naturally innocent are big-time grifters, it would be better to replace all that energy and money into actual useful DIYs but it is now a number and quantity game, and it's only up to people to cancel it right out. Example, it's funny to see someone make a robot that sarcastically sprays water with the intention of efficient washing, it's not really funny anymore when it's just a waste of resources remaking more useless robots just for views.
