A list of puns related to "Funny Clarinet"
So I love the Independence Day and I absolutely love itβs soundtrack. Iβve listened to the end credits enough to notice a funny mistake in it. About 55 seconds in you can year a clarinet squeak during a less intense part of the music. I noticed it a few years ago and it still makes me laugh. Iβm pretty sure Iβm one of the only people to ever catch it, because itβs so inconsequential. But to me itβs like a little Easter egg. I can imagine after the recording, the other clarinet players looking at whoever cracked the note with that look of βreally?β. I wonder how this made it past editing?
Just thought Iβd share my little soundtrack Easter egg. Hereβs a link for those who are curious.

I thought you guys would get a kick out of this funny shirt. Every clarinet player knows that this is true lol
This is probably not the subreddit to be posting this but idk which one to post it on so here goes nothing. So for context, I'm a sophomore in high school (15/16 years old for those of you who hate freedom) and there's this guy with a huge crush on me. He's had the crush on my since 5th grade (10/11 years old) and when I was in 5th grade it got overbearing even then and I started being really rude to him so he'd stop. My "boyfriend" at the time even punched him in the face. Twice. We thought it worked (clearly it didn't) and now we're here.
So fast forward five years, he transfers into all but 3 of my classes. Like a month into the year. It was always in the back of my mind that maybe he still liked me but I brushed it off as a coincidence. I brought it up to my friends and they all just shrugged it off as well. About a week later a girl mentions that he had been jumping around classes the entire time, and in my mind I was thinking it was super weird he stopped when he ended up in most of mine. I shrugged it off yet again. A week later, I come down with Covid so of course I'm not in school for like two weeks. Upon my return, this dude is in a group with two of my friends for a project. Him and my friends ask the teacher if I can join their group, the teacher cares about nothing except for basketball so he said yeah. So we work on the project, everything is going good so far, I assume he has a crush on me again but I shrug it off and carry on. We finished the project early so we got alike a week of free periods while everyone else finished the project. Later, somehow we were on the topic of race, he goes "aren't you Vietnamese?" I am. This doesn't seem that creepy until you think, most people would immediately think Chinese or Korean or Japanese or just plain Asian. Plus, I am half Vietnamese and don't really look it, I could pass for completely white if I wanted to. So I asked how he knew that. He said, and I quote, "I remember everything about you." I talked to my friends about it and one of my guy friends said sometimes guys do that to just creep people out, and that it was probably a joke so I just decided it was probably a joke.
I don't remember if this next thing happened before or after the race thing, but we were on the topic of birthdays. He looks at me and goes "isn't yours July 11th?" Guess what, it is. So again, I asked how he knew that and he goes, and I quote yet again "I figured it out." Once again, I shrugged it off because I had mentio

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
Edit: I can't believe how much this has blown up. Thank you everyone I've had a blast reading through the replies π

Whatβs your favorite song and/or little scene transition diddy?
My favorite song is Morning Promenade, I just instantly think of Larry driving his Prius somewhere https://youtu.be/qIhUS7OaI7I
My favorite little transition diddy is that clarinet piece with the repeated eighth notes in the minor key, the first couple seconds of this song: https://youtu.be/q_uJ2md5lJc
Sometimes I put on a Curb soundtrack playlist when I walk the dog so I can feel like Iβm in the show π it actually helps me think of funny plot lines from my own life! For example something like getting caught walking down an alley for a block you donβt live on. Thereβs gotta be an unwritten rule in society about that, right? lol
Pilot on me!!
Dad jokes are supposed to be jokes you can tell a kid and they will understand it and find it funny.
This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
Edit* I'm not replying any longer and turning off notifications but to all those that say "no one cares", there sure are a lot of you arguing about it. Maybe I'm wrong but you people don't need to be rude about it. If you really don't care, don't comment.
Howdy! Welcome to Day 27 of the r/indieheads Album of the Year 2021 Write-Up Series, our annual event where we showcase pieces from some of our favorite writers on the subreddit talking about their favorite records of the year! Today, we have u/zenits writing about rural internet's escape room.
September 22nd, 2021 - self-released
Listen:
Background by u/zenits:
Rural Internet is a hyperpop-influenced experimental hiphop trio based in Australia and the United States, consisting of Charlotte Crosby, zombAe and doinβ fine, the latter of whom you may recognise from last yearβs Twinks Going To Hell For Being Twinks which attracted a decent amount of attention on RYM. They have released three albums so far: Shopping Music in 2020, which they followed up with BREAKING UP earlier this year, a record which even attracted the attention of Anthony Fantano. Their third album, and the subject of this review, escape room, was released this September.
Writeup by u/zenits:
In a way, I still donβt understand this album.
That is probably the least convincing sentence that a review could start with, but it is, unfortunately, true. escape room constantly does things that it just shouldnβt be able to, but it just somehow keeps pulling them off. It combines uncombinable genres. It creates a distinct sound from songs that are nothing alike. It somehow makes lyrics that hit way too hard easy to listen to.
These apparent contradictions not only define escape room, but make it one of the most innovative, interesting and varied records that have come out in a long time. Each track is a totally new idea, something which could be the subject of either criticism or praise (and indeed, I have seen it used as both even in the context of this album), but in this case, it is most certainly the latter..
In particular, I want to highlight the incredible work that Charlotte Crosby has done on the album as a multi-instrumentalist, having contributed 10 different instruments ranging all the way from kalimba to clarinet, without which the insanely creative production on this album wouldnβt have been possible.
And I do mean insanely creative. From the cinematic build of βescape roomβ to βiron lungβ which hits like a sledgehamm
