A list of puns related to "Funny Badminton"
I've got a tournament this weekend and need a mascot. Cant be alive! Best mascot gets bonus points. Any ideas for some funny ones? Only one I have thought of is making a miniature Iron Throne from Gane of Thrones out of little cardboard badminton rackets.
I was watching "Spelling Bee My Baby" and forgot how funny Stan And Roger forcing Hayley to go through the stages of grief so she can judge their badminton game for the shuttcock ring. What's other ones you love?
Everyone on this planet has been affected by the SARS-Cov-2/Coronavirus/Covid-19 pandemic. You may have been in lockdown, you may have been forced to work under some form of duress, you may have lost a loved one to the disease, you may be left with long term side effects of the illness, you may have found that regular food, housing, and/or medical care is less attainable or more expensive now.
We could have been better off months ago, but disinformation and lies have been allowed to spread readily through inaction and malice, and have dragged this on at the cost of lives. There are those who deny that the pandemic even exists, there are those who think that wearing a mask will literally suffocate you, there are those who think it's no worse than a regular flu virus, that it's a bioweapon, and everything in between. This volume of blatant misinformation is problematic and dangerous.
It is clear that even after promising to tackle the problem of misinformation on this site, nothing of substance has been done aside from quarantining a medium sized subreddit, which barely reduces traffic and does little to stop misinformation.
The disinformation and false information is manifold. There is no area of recognised safety procedures when it comes to battling the spread of a dangerous virus that is not under attack here. All empirically proven measures which can help save lives are under attack. Masks work^1 , but not according to the propaganda. The vaccine is safe,^2 it is not untested, and it is not experimental technology or DNA manipulation, but people getting their information from these propaganda subreddits are told the opposite. Social distancing is valuable^3 , but people are being persuaded to not even do that. Cynical plays on emotion are made. Trying to keep children safe is painted as "child abuse". Lies are repeated so frequently that misinformed people begin to believe them wholeheartedly, trusting that they can't be incorrect because they're surrounded by people who believe it also.
There needs to be a more active involvement in preventing the spread of the disinformation that is keeping us within a pandemic that at this point is entirely manageable. The main problem with a concerted disinformation campaign is that such a message attains an air of legitimacy through sheer volume of repetition. This is dangerous when it comes

When I was 3 my parents introduced this Malay man as Pak Cik to me and told me that the company my father works at had assigned Pak Cik as his driver. He was a slightly stout and short man that at the time to me, seemed unfriendly. My memory is hazy since I was so young then but I remember that I was rather afraid of him. I actually didn't see him around very much until I was 7 and I started going to school. That was the true beginning of what would be an unlikely friendship.
Often it was just me and him in the car as he would pick me up from after school activities, then together we would go pick up my dad from work. He'd always try to make conversation but I wouldn't say much since I was shy. That didn't stop him though. He loved telling me stories about just you know whatever was going on in his life, and most importantly the gossip that was going around amongst the drivers (I lived in a condo then so I had all the hot gossip about the neighbours thanks to him). Funniest thing was that he loved to say that my mother loves to 'popek-popek' but he also in fact loves to talk. I think I was a rather lonely child so I loved just hearing him talk all day.
As cliche as it sounds, my parents were very busy people who didn't have much time for me. That included listening to any of my stories. When I tried telling them something it was always "Dad/Mum is very busy right now. Can you tell me later?" Pak Cik would always whisper "Tak pe, nanti, nanti" and then point between the both of us, as if to say he wanted to hear about my stories. I'm sure it was all not very exciting to him at all, my school drama or my thoughts but it meant so much to me that he wanted to listen. Though I was shy by nature, he was the one that encouraged me to be more inquisitive, to always voice how I felt. In many ways, I felt very invisible, both at school and at home. But, when I was in the car with Pak Cik, he made me feel seen, valid, like what I felt or thought mattered. For a kid, with such low self esteem, he was a god-send.
A funny little tidbit is that I also loved singing as a kid and I must say I was definitely no Mariah Carey and I guess that's why my singing would annoy my parents sometimes, so much so that they would tell me to "please stop singing for a moment."

First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
Do your worst!
I'm surprised it hasn't decade.
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
Edit: I can't believe how much this has blown up. Thank you everyone I've had a blast reading through the replies π
It really does, I swear!
I know twitter would probably disagree and shower me with the online equivalent of throwing tomatoes onto a stage, and I know the phrase have been overused to hell and back, but hear me out.
I think seungkwan is the best example of what an IT BOY in kpop should be - marketable, personable, retable, entertaining, likeable, heβs got it all!
Heβs extremely marketable
He secures gigs left and right, back to back tv shows, back to back endorsements, hell, even editorials! He was invited to do another shoot (for ELLE korea i believe) directly the month after he did the first one because not only did they love him, the public loved him! Products he talked about in his original interview sold out insanely fast, books that heβs talked about have been in such high demand that theyβve contacted international book publishers in order to help distribute the book to the global audience, itβs gotten to the point now where the mere mention of wanting to be sponsored by brands can get him deals with the clicks of a finger!
Heβs an all-rounded entertainer
Seungkwan would not be on multiple tv channels with back to back appearances on the same day if a) the general public did not enjoy him and b) he wasnβt funny. But, newsflash! Shocker! They ADORE HIM! Seungkwan is both funny, personable, relatable, and well-adjusted with the way Korean media and variety work that he is able to keep his ground around seniors who have been in the tv business almost 10-20 years longer than he has, with some even having careers that began before he was alive. Clips of him go viral, celebrities who have never even met him before can pick him out from a lineup, people talk about him all the time! EVERYBODY knows him, from rookies like CIX, STAYC, and TREASURE to kpop veterans like hyoyeon, cl, taeyeon, IU, and key, his name flutters around the kpop community like WILDFIRE because not only does he work incredibly hard to showcase how versatile he is on TV, his efforts show. With regards to being all-rounded, seungkwan is also very emotionally intelligent, part of which I think can be attributed to living with 12 men for over half his life. He knows how to read a room, and when to be serious and give genuinely good advice (seen evidently during his appearance on hello counsellor).
Heβs just so likeable
Seungkwan has been praised by staff and celebrity alike for being a genuinely caring and sweet boy. He is respectful to seniors and acts as an active figure in the

Dad jokes are supposed to be jokes you can tell a kid and they will understand it and find it funny.
This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
Edit* I'm not replying any longer and turning off notifications but to all those that say "no one cares", there sure are a lot of you arguing about it. Maybe I'm wrong but you people don't need to be rude about it. If you really don't care, don't comment.
When I got home, they were still there.
What did 0 say to 8 ?
" Nice Belt "
So What did 3 say to 8 ?
" Hey, you two stop making out "
Kind of surreal, about to be 40 in mere moments. Not quite sure what to think of it. When I was a kid I thought I would be a middle aged mom by now. Funny how life takes unexpected turns. I donβt feel 40 and Iβm feeling grateful and not like Iβve missed out on living a childfree life.
EDITβ¦.. WOW!! Woke up to all the love from you guys! Thank you so much!! I love this community and I appreciate you all. I will try my best to reply to all of you!
Second Edit⦠thank you from the bottom of my heart!! My 40th was amazing! We had tarot card readings, catered food, played corn hole, flip cup, and badminton, plus just spent time time with those who meant the most
I won't be doing that today!

Me: nerves building, smile widening
Me: Hi hungry, I'm dad.
She had no idea what was going on but I finally did it.
Thank you all for listening.
