Now I know the Frieza Race is called many things and while there isn’t a completely confirmed name as far as I can tell, there have been a few things here and there. I was writing something up and came across one I thought sounded interesting called the glaeris, apparently from the Malaysian dub. Now between that and frost demon, the one I originally was planning on using, just what sounds more interesting? If either of these were used for the Frieza Race, which sounds better or stands out more to you?
I need a name for my frieza race but all I can think of are Oblivion and Zero but Zero is already one of my male saiyan's name and Oblivion sounds kinda weird so can someone help
Edit : I need no help anymore, I found the name Tundra and it sounds cool (it feels weird using it since Seereax has a frieza race named Tundra) but thank you to anyone who answered and will answer!

I just want to say that all ideas here were from me and my friend. If pretty much the same idea already came then I apologize in advance
So I was playing Xenoverse 2 with my friend (casually farming medals, getting 100k in the raid) and he asked me,if I want the 5th form from Cooler. Of course I did and we talked about it for a while. I think the idea wasn't so bad
First up,you need 5 Ki bars(500 Ki) to transform and we wanted to make it feel more like Cooler in the movie. So now you need 3 stamina bars to Z-vanish and evasives take one more stamina bar,but you gain a lot more stamina through attacking the enemy(for those who forgot: Frieza Race CaCs gain a little stamina with each basic hit). Now you have to land good hits and messing up too many times will be more punishing. You can vanish/use an evasive a last time when you have less than the required stamina. But it will break your stamina,so be careful and use that wisely!
You also gain a medium increase in defense, a medium to small decrease in speed, a medium increase in Ki blast attacks and a large increase in basic attacks. We weren't sure if strike attacks should be boosted too(might be too strong)
While you are in the transformation,you basically don't gain any Ki and using any super/ultimate attack gradually drains your stamina. Perfect blocking gives you one additional Ki bar. Remember though: you can gain the stamina back by punching the enemy.
Detransforming takes a long time in case you regret your choice. Getting your stamina broken removes your damage reduction and you take more damage on top of that.
So what we tried was to make playing offensive very rewarding but falling back to the defense was supposed to be more dangerous.
I'm sure this rant has been made a million times and if it has on here, then my apologies. Still, I wanted to get this out there: I HATE that Frieza's race doesn't have a name. Frieza is the main villain of a fair portion of the series, and pulled the strings behind a few arcs. On top of this, you have his family members King Cold and Cooler also trying to kill the Z Fighters.
Despite this, Toriyama never named Frieza's race. WHY?! I think that's dumb. Toriyama is the guy who name characters LITERALLY after stuff he ate for lunch, yet won't even come with a simple name to give an alien race that causes the heroes nothing but trouble?
Hell, in Xenoverse and Xenoverse 2, they literally just called it "Frieza's Race". And yes, I know Cell calls Frieza's Race "Frost Demons" in those games, which is a reference to the Dragon Ball Multiverse comic. And honestly, if they were actually called that I'd be fine. Sure, the name doesn't make a whole lot of sense because they aren't demons, but at least it's an actual name.
To me, a dumb name is better than no name. And I'd be fine with Frieza's race not being named if he was only in one arc and never showed up again, nor did we meet relatives of his. However, he does show up again, we do meet his relatives, and even an alternate universe version of him. At this point, there is no excuse to not give us his name.
tl;DR version: Araki isn't the only mangaka who forgets.
We learn the real names of Mr. Satan and the Androids, 17 has a job and family, learn the fates of Shen and Tao (to some degree), the real reason Gero wouldn't send out 16 and the purpose of his creation, that Beerus was the one who sealed Old Kai in the Z-Sword, etc., through interviews with Toriyama years later. But the one thing that we still don't know to this day is the name of Frieza's race. They've either been referred to as either Arcosians (a fan given name) and Frost Demons in non-canon media. If Toriyama were to finally give it a name, what would it be? Clearly a cold temperature pun.

Im weird in that im not big on using names other folks use for their characters. But man naming a Frieza race character with a cold name is difficult. Ive got a nice long list of saiyan names but man, Frieza race names a whole nother ball game.
You know, along the lines of Cold, Cooler, and Chilled.
First off this is not a what if Frieza was Goku's father, it's more of a what if Gine had a one night stand with a nice Frost Demon, who's not involved with Frieza or his family, after getting in a minor argument with Bardock and never mentioning it to anyone. Other than Goku being a Hybrid everything else is normal, tell me what you all think will happen in the comments.
An interactive post, I'd like to hear how you fans out there refer to the enslaved races of the Galactic Frieza Army, feel free to explain why if you want or need to. For example, I refer to Recoome's race as "Golem-seijin" as Golem is a (mindless) tall brutish servant in Hebrew.

So Frieza decides to go to another planet in order to rule it after destroying Planet Vegeta and he manages to come across a planet named Viltrum which is inhabited by a bunch of species called Viltrumites. What would Frieza's first reaction be? Is he willing to negotiate with them to join his force or would he try to kill all of them immediately?
As for the Viltrumites what would their reactions be against someone trying to rule or enslave all of them? Can they overthrow Frieza with any means whether it's a straight up fist fight or an assassination plot?

Me and my buddies are playing a Dragonball campaign and I’m playing a frieza race character. We’re playing homebrew races but core classes, so I’m trying to figure out what I should play. I want to play something that has melee and a consistent ranged option that isn’t just using a bow or similar ranged weapon. I’ve looked at sun soul monk which is what most would tell me but I’ve also considered some stuff like a soul knife rogue or eldritch knight fighter. Any recommendations?
What race does the Frieza race characters start off in? I think final form since they can evolve into golden without their appearance changing
