Ce jour-là, on vient à peine de déposer un patient aux urgences du coin que la sonnerie du PDA retentit déjà : "Nouvelle mission SAMU !! ...Nouvelle mission SAMU !!"
Bon, c'est raté pour le ptit café du matin...
Je prends connaissance du motif d'appel : "enfant de 9 ans, crise de nerfs dans un Institut Médico-Éducatif, agressivité ++, pédo-psychiatre absente".
Une intervention assez classique par ici. Bien souvent le personnel a tout tenté pour ne pas appeler les secours, mais il arrive parfois que rien ne puisse calmer la victime, et les pompiers ou une ambulance privée sont alors envoyés sur place.
Plus d'une fois sur deux, la crise est terminée à notre arrivée, et nous nous contentons d'emmener le pauvre enfant, souvent prostré et à bout de force, aux urgences pédiatriques du secteur, accompagné d'un adulte référent, éducateur ou autre .
On se trouve à quelques centaines de mètres seulement du lieu d'intervention, et nous arrivons donc très rapidement sur les lieux. 🛫.....🛬
On sait d'avance que l'appel a été fait au 18, et c'est donc forcément la première réflexion que l'on entend : "Bah, on avait appelé les pompiers ???"
Ça, on a l'habitude^^...
On ne relève pas, d'autant que ce jour-là nous sommes trois, car accompagnés d'un jeune stagiaire DEA. Ça fera peut-être illusion...
A peine avons-nous pénétré dans l'institut que je repère immédiatement plusieurs adultes dans un couloir au rez-de-chaussée, tous attroupés autour d'une porte.
Une éducatrice est accrochée de toutes ses forces à la poignée, comme pour empêcher une entité mystérieuse d'en sortir. 🧟♂️🧟
Les visages sont fermés et inquiets, je pense à tous ces films d'épouvante qui ont bercé ma jeunesse, et je ne peux m'empêcher d'éprouver un certain malaise en approchant.
Visiblement, la crise est loin d'être finie...
On nous regarde l'air circonspect (rappelez-vous, on attend les pompiers, pas des ambulanciers), et on voit bien que les différents intervenants se demandent ce qu'on va bien pouvoir faire.

Si une armée d'éducateurs spécialisés, qui connaissent l'enfant de surcroît, n'ont pas réussi à le calmer, je n'imagine même pas sa réaction devant trois inconnus en uniforme !
On en sait plus après quelques rapides questions : ce n'est pas sa première crise, mais la plus violente ; il a entre autre : cassé tout ce qu'il pouvait, fait preuve d'agressivité envers le personnel et les autres enfants, retourné le doigt d'une éducatrice...

So, I'm French and I discovered recently that Fort Boyard, a game show taking place in a fortress on the west coast of France, was famous way beyond our borders.
I especially noticed that it was popular among Russians, considering the numerous comments in Russian under the show's song theme.
So I wonder, do you watch Fort Boyard, if so do you watch the original show with subtitles or the Russian adaptation ?
Do you have similar shows in Russia, taking place in an uncanny location ? I always thought it was an exclusively French show because obviously you cannot replicate the set and the concept, as opposed to Who wants to be a Millionaire for example.

Let us talk about attractions and their difficulty. I guess they are real games and not games played on arcade cabinets ? 1.DDR/Memory dance - 3 blunders and you are a goner. You have to memorize 12 moves and have a sense of rhytm and you are on a strict timer. Good luck with that. You are doomed. The robo dancers will not cheer you up unlike Yuni or Janet in Dance Dance Revolution - they want you to die. 2. Minecart - if it just a video game - easy. If it is an actual real minecart ride underground - with ducking and punching and constant shaking involved you are in deep trouble. Time limit is an issue. 3. Stay on target/ laser pointer - try to focus and keep a steady hand while staring at these silly/creepy faces. A huge mental burden, irregular patterns, 3 blunders and you end up eaten. The faces are constantly laughing. Lost cause. 4 and then 5- Hide and seek and Spirit ghost buster - due to nerve wracking theme. If it is an actual haunted manor underground, due to creepy atmosphere, complete darkness, eeriee music, 3 blunders, you need nerves of steel. Did I mention total darkness and scary imagery and a monster which turns around often and moans ? A huge mental burden, again and good luck operating that tiny camera in total darkness and taking photos when creepy ghosts can attack from all sides. It is 2 people vs 20 ghosts. Spooky !!! 6. Card game - you are on a strict time limit. It is like a duel with D'arby from JoJo - nerve wracking. These are robots, they do not feel fear like D'arby. 7. Quick draw - depends - if you have 3 seconds to pick a weapon from a stand and use it, before the robot smacks you...seems tough. 8. Fly swatting - try to swat 20 robo flies in complete darkness. Good luck ! 9. Robo arm wrestling - you, a scrawny human vs 3 strong robot athletes in a row. Good luck with withstanding all of that. You are not Jax from Mortal Kombat. 10. Last but not least - arbitration room. A penny for your thoughts ?
