A list of puns related to "Foreigner Song"
I admit I don't know a lot about US songs.
But there's a few songs I learned in school and I can never forget them.
Like Take Me Home, Country Roads, I really like this kind of country song, it makes a foreigner so nostalgic for a country they never been to.
Yesterday Once More , I learned this in English class, so atmospheric.
Hit the Road Jack, I accidently find this on youtube, Jazz music gives me those roaring twenty vibes (I always have a strange image that people in America dine in the restaurant and have some people play Jazz on stage)
I can't quite describe my personal preference on US song, maybe I love classical songs or those rural country songs.
Could anyone recommend me songs that a American must listen? Thank you.
Let me know if there are survey issues!
#Introduction The song spotlight is a recurring topic on this subreddit, where every week we will feature a different song included in the game or its DLC and discuss things like how to play its different riffs, techniques to focus on and more casual things like some interesting trivia or the artist's other work. Finally we'll conclude with a score attack challenge, a random entrant of which will be offered to choose the next song. Further discussion tends to occur over on the subreddit discord so head over there for that.
The format will change depending on feedback and participation, so don't hesitate to send suggestions myself or the mods in general.

A random entrant will get to pick next week's song!

MarΓlia became really famous in the sertanejo universΓ‘rio scenario at the early age of 19, being one of the most famous singers in brazil right now. She died today in a plane accident. During the early pandemic her livestreams in youtube became one of the most watched of all time, with the whole country watching her perfomances at home, what are your thoughts? non-brazilians, is sertanejo listened to in your country?
edit: i found this thread from shannon sims that describe quite well how famous she was and how her death has affected everyone here now (in eng)
I'll start. Mine is "Red", in Portuguese: "Vermelho"!
Hey there,
I'm wondering if you guys can help me. I'm looking for a track that was released in the early-mid 2000s that samples "I've Been Waiting for a Girl Like You." It's a fairly mid-tempo chart dance track and the music video had a woman in a red dress. I don't think it was a big hit but the video was shown on Sky TV music channels in the UK pretty often back in the day. I can't find any record of its existence for the life of me.
It's definitely not the Ultrabeat version.
Recently discovered Pallbearer and I am obsessed with their song, Foreigner. I've noticed some pretty stretched-out chords being played on the 7 string and I know it's a drop A tuning. Anyone have some tabs of some of the chord shapes the band uses? I've been playing guitar for over 30 years but still know basically nothing. LOL

At a party or a camping trip. A Russian song played and sung nicely by a foreigner (not including ex-USSR countries) that would really impress or surprise you.
Hello everyone, I know this is completely random, but I don't know where else to ask.
I was in Turkey in the summer of 2012, and there was a song that was playing on TV all the time. I don't know Turkish, so I can't remember the title or artists, but I desperately want to find it, so I hope someone here can help. It was constantly getting played on TV in August of 2012. The song is a duet, acoustic, potentially a love song, sung by a man and a woman. The music video features the two artists singing, I believe their backs are against each other, and that there is an acoustic guitar in the video.
If anyone has any idea, I would greatly appreciate it. I've had the song stuck in my head for years and can't find it. shazamed it back in 2012 but I don't have that phone anymore. I've looked online at charts, compliations and anything else I can find, but since I don't speak Turkish my research is limited.
Thank you in advance, and I apologize if questions like this are not welcome in the subreddit, but I don't know where else to ask
UPDATE It's been 20 minutes and someone found it. I honestly didn't think anyone would care. I love the internet, I love you and I'm really grateful for everyone who tried to help!
Dear friends,
My girlfriend and I had the absolute pleasure of visiting your wonderful country 2,5 years ago. We started in Pula (just in time for the WC-final in the amphitheater, will never forget the experience), to Zadar (fell in love with this city), to the Plitvice Lakes (mesmerising) to end in Dubrovnik (beautiful but crowded with GoT-fans) and many small highlights in between.
We always try to listen to the local music station while travelling by car, and while we have absolutely no idea what was being said, we do enjoyed the music. One song in particular stood out, and it has become a running joke of sorts. If one of us canβt remember the title of a song we always refer to the Croatian βhoop-di-hoopdiβ-song.
Obviously, this will not work in text at all and my sincere apology for butchering your language, but if I recall correctly the song consisted of (multiple?) gentlemen singing a song with the following verse:
Hoop-di-hoopdi-hoopdi-le Hoopdi-hoopdi-le-le
In the end, women joined the verse as well.
So please, Croatian Reddit do your thing! Could you please help me out with titles that come to mind when you read this description? Hopefully it will help me escape the pandemic lockdowns by transporting time back to simpler times.
Much obliged!
A non-Croatian admirer of your country and culture.
Hi!Guys. Whenever i look at some of the videos of these reaction channels and the number of views that these channels get, i feel frustrated because the people(foreigners/north indians) who make these videos have not grown up with our movies, and have no idea about the aura/stardom of our star heroes and their only intention is to make money out of the love/following that fans have for their favorite actors and fans of cinema in general.
Especially, The foreigners also try to cash on one of indians' common weaknesses which is to love anything that is foreign. And the irony is that most of our people see videos of only white skinned foreigners while they don't bat an eyelid to reaction videos made by dark skinned foreigners. For example, way back in 2015 i had seen a video of a black american girl who took the effort to go to a theatre in America to watch Baahubali: The Beginning and later made a reaction video, but not many people saw that video.
Also, after so many years mana vaalakaina ardhamayi vundali about these guys' intentions and that these guys have no sort of connection, respect, love similar to what we have for our cinema and for our actors.
Finally, as the title says, i would like to know your opinion about people who make these videos and will there come a time when our people will stop watching these reaction videos and the trend will come to an end. And naakoka doubt, ee reaction videos chese telugu vaalu endhuku leru?
My Top 3 favorite Foreigner songs in no particular order are
Double Vision, Urgent, Say You Will
Honorable Mention
I Want To Know What Love Is, Head Games, Waiting For A Girl Like You
honestly i don't care much for the chorus and i wouldn't say i'm a fan of foreigner, but man... that first minute of "i want to know what love is" is practically the best minute of any song i've ever heard. would love to get some more recs that sound similar. for context, here's a list of my fav songs from the past month or so-
mother - john lennon, little lies - fleetwood mac, everything she wants - wham!, escapade - janet jackson, only the lonely - the motels, wonderful! wonderful! - johnny mathis, to live and die in l.a. - wang chung
would really appreciate some song recs (any decade is fine lol). not so sure about artist recs but those are welcome too; it's just that i generally like specific songs bc my taste is all over the place.
thanks guys in advance :)
I'm having trouble as to what song I should recommend to my friend who wants to learn Tagalog. And for what it's worth, they're from Indonesia.
Anyway, I just wanted to thank you all in advance for helping me and the future users who may find this thread useful.
How does a foreigner get a chance to write songs for kpop groups? And do they make money for that song if it becomes a hit? Iβve been so curious about this as I heard there was this black woman who wrote an Nct song and I think thatβs so cool. I wouldnβt want to be an idol but Iβd love to be a songwriter and write songs for groups. Would I have to get signed to a label first?
Shits so hard til boogie comes in AAAYYYYY. His verse ainβt even that bad tbh just not comparable to the rest of the song
Xin chΓ o chαΊ―c bαΊ‘n What are some good songs you can recommend to sing during tet holiday? Iβm still a beginner in Vietnamese but Iβm quick to learn the lyrics.

Foreigner in the Ledger solo album. I can't find an instrumental. I'm ok with a reproduction too but I prefer the official. Feel free to add a link.
