This forum is probably the closest I can get for this type of car. Are the tenth generation Thunderbirds (1989-1997) good vehicles? I've always had a soft spot for this generation, I had the unfortunate experience of driving a 2003 model a few years back which was slow, cramped and full of cheap interior pieces. Wondering if anyone here has experience with this specific generation of them or Cougar. I don't see many of them around, but they do pop up occasionally on Craigslist.

My grandfather just purchased 2004 for thunderbird but it does not have a boot cover. He is hoping to create his own but has reached a few roadblocks in the design. I have two questions; 1) what are the layers of the boot cover 2) does a pattern exist where the cover does not go under the hood?

Never seen this before, I pulled into a parking lot and shut everything down, waited a few minutes and it started and ran fine.
This morning I jumpstarted a truck on the jobsite but I’m sure it was done correctly. However it was an E-350 high amperage alternator. Much larger than my car.
Any ideas?
