Vatican II was a major council in the Roman Catholic Church called by Pope John XXIII and completed by Pope Paul VI in the 1960s. Even for those who are not Catholic, it has some theological and social reflections on the Christian perspective on a range of issues that many people of good will can reflect on. Hence why I, as someone who is not Catholic, is nevertheless reading through Vatican II's documents. Here are some key insights.
"The Church is God's farm or field(1 Cor 3:9). In this field the ancient olive tree grows whose holy roots were the patriarchs and in which the reconciliation of Jews and Gentiles has been achieved and will continue to be achieved(Rom 11:13-16). The church has been planted by the heavenly farmer as a choice vineyard. The true vine is Christ, who gives life and fruitfulness to the branches, that is, to us, who through the church abide in Christ without whom we can do nothing(Jn 15:1-5)"_Lumen Gentium(prg 6)
"Finally, those who have no yet accepted the Gospel are related to the people of God in various ways. There is, first, that people to whom the covenants and promises were made, and from whom Christ was born in the flesh(Rom 9:4-5), a people in virtue of their election beloved for the sake of the fathers, for God never regrets his gifts or his call(Rom 11:28-29). But the plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, first among whom are Muslims: they profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, who will judge humanity on the last day. Nor is God remote from those who in shadows and images seek the unknown God, since he gives to everyone life and breath and all things(Acts 17:25-28) and since the Saviour wills everyone to be saved(1 Tim 2:4)"_Lumen Gentium(prg 16)

Therefore by their competence in secular disciplines and by their activity which grace elevates from within, let them do all in their power to ensure that through human labor, technical skill and civil culture the goods of creation may be developed

Sounds pretty socialist to me.
Simeon the stylite lived on a post for more than 30 years. Did he defecate in a particular corner, and did someone come daily to clean it for him? And if so, how did he find or pay such a person to manage such menial tasks? How did he have any money? Did he have friends who would visit?

That paradox just popped into my mind. I don't think there is a verse in the bible in which God adds gender to the soul.
If that is the case, there is no real difference between two people other than outer appearance in regards to gender/sex.
Thus there is no reason as to why someone should be the "leader of the household" just because that person has a shlong between their legs.
