It's not quite a walk in the park, but it is scenic enough! I'm slowly working out how to keep the camera mount stable on the scooter and get over my paranoia that the camera will fall off...

Hi! I'm an urban planning student studying Flushing Meadows - Corona Park. I'd like to hear a bit more about the park from people who go there regularly. Under normal circumstances I'd go ask people in the park what they think about it, but these days I'm seeking opinions online! I know a lot about the history but not as much about the present of the park.
If you use the park regularly, would you mind sharing what you think about it? Some ideas of what I'd love to know:
If you like it, why? If not, why? Are there enough services (bathrooms, connections to the street outside, benches, water fountains, etc.) for users? What do you/others like to do there? Is there something you would change? How do you get there/enter? Any of your thoughts would be welcomed.

Hi! While it’s important to stay home, it’s also important to keep moving. It’s a good way to stay sane and boost your immune system. Anyone interested in a running partner or a small run group? ( 3-4 people) We don’t have to shake hands or run on top of each other. Just meet up, stretch and jog. I’m 35 M. I just ran three miles at about a 10 minute mile. I’d like to go back to a 9 or 8:30 minute mile eventually. If you can’t match that time, that’s ok. I don’t mind a slower pace as long we’re improving.
Its' in the fountain of planets thingy. Not my favorite part of the park. But there are crabs in there. Im not sure how but there just is. I recommand not eating anything that lives in there.
Most of my routes out of Flushing take me through Flushing Meadows Corona Park to get to Queens Blvd. I know a good signed/laned route from 53rd, Lewis and 55th Ave but I haven’t been able to find a similar route in the reverse direction. The markings along the route above don’t show up in Google maps or the 2019 bike map since they were fairly recent so im hoping that’s the case.
Any recommendations?
