A list of puns related to "Fitzroy Football Club"
Fitzroy had a partnership going with Coburg in the VFL and currently fields a team in the VAFA, yet the Bears are non-existant; both clubs merged to form the Brisbane Lions, yet I'm confused as to how one of them can still exist after having being merged with the other.
EDIT 1: For clarification, I'm just a little confused about how Fitzroy is still around even after being merged. To use an example, to me it would be like Goku and Vegeta fused into Vegito, and stayed fused as Vegito, but Goku is still hanging around in the background somehow.
I've been reading some old threads asking old Fitzroy supporters whether they followed the Lions to Brisbane, chose a different team entirely or more depressingly gave up on footy all together and it got me thinking about what I would do in this situation. I'm a die hard Port man, but I think I could jump ship and start supporting say the Darwin Power or the Hobart Power in a hypothetical sense, especially knowing that the Magpies were still in Adelaide, but what would the rest of you do?

Best: Dean Smith
Worst: Paul Lambert
Steve Bruce was average
It's clearly not the manager. Managers have come and gone since Sir Alex. And terrible performances are becoming the rule rather than the exception.
How can a team with this much quality consistently embarrass themselves like this. It's not like they have one bad performance in 20 odd games. It's constant. Is there something psychologically wrong with the players? Are they scared by the expectation?
No other club is like this. Even Arsenal who are famously comical have more good performances than bad.
Mine are Mansfield, Celtic, Man City and Arsenal
Growing up as a child the FA cup was second only to the league title domestic, and was by far and away the biggest domestic game of the season.
What took the gloss off ? why do the big clubs field weak sides ?
Or is the sole reason that the champions league money is so off the scale.
Your opinion please.
