I remember the song begining with a high pitched repetitive guitar solo which sounds like it had a flanged effect (maybe) which is repeated a few times throughout the song. Certain vocals had the distorted radio effect followed by some metal/rock guitar thrashing. Before the breakdown some lyrics were followed by "Ahhhhhhhh"
One song from my childhood I cannot remember for the life of me and I would love to rediscover, it's a long shot :(

I was playing a ‘name that tune’ type game the other day and ‘Tainted Love’ came on. I immediately knew the song but couldn’t for the life of me think of the artist. Turns out it was ‘Soft Cell’ and all I could think was, “Who the hell is Soft Cell?!” Made me wonder, what other songs are out there that everyone knows but couldn’t name the artist?
A few months ago I attended a Dance Gavin Dance concert on my birthday with some friends, and one of the opening bands BLEW ME OUT OF THE WATER! I couldn't get enough of the guitarist. I took so many videos but NO WHERE could I find their name, especially with a venue like the House of Blues being loud as it is and their name was no where on any flyer or ticket. I came across a meme on TikTok that had a really cool song, so I decided to pop over to Spotify and start listening to this artist. After the first song played, I recognized the second one IMMEDIATELY. Fast forward a bit, I knew it was them. Went back to Snapchat, watched the video, and no shit they are playing the same song. The overwhelming joy I had was insane now I know what's on repeat in my car.
