A list of puns related to "Filmfare Critics Award For Best Actor"
Here, I'd like to introduce a new hypothetical idea that came to my mind, the 'Super Filmfare Award' and my first category is the 'Best Actor (Male)'.
It's quite simple. I have posted the list of all Filmfare best actor winners from 2010-19 and you comment your choice for the best performance from this lot, your winner of the Super Filmfare Award. You can also include a 'Top 3' if you wish.
Here's the list to select from:
2010: Shah Rukh Khan in My Name is Khan
2011: Ranbir Kapoor in Rockstar
2012: Ranbir Kapoor in Barfi
2013: Farhan Akhtar in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag
2014: Shahid Kapoor in Haider
2015: Ranveer Singh in Bajirao Mastani
2016: Aamir Khan in Dangal
2017: Irrfan Khan in Hindi Medium
2018: Ranbir Kapoor in Sanju
2019: Ranveer Singh in Gully Boy
Depending on the interest and discussion this one generates, I will continue it for the other categories as well over the next few days.
Ranveer Singh for Gully Boy is my pick so far. Shahid, Salman, Akshay, and Ayushmann would probably be the other nominees for the first half of 2019
This might be an unpopular opinion here as I saw several comments praising how Abhimanyu deserved the award......
Look if you would have asked me this question before watching Mardaani 2, I would have said that Sid Chaturvedi being the popular choice will surely win the best debut male award with Abhimanyu being a close second. But boy was I blown by this guy...... His performance was by far exceptional than any of the newcomer actor in a long time, the awards were obviously rigged in the favour of certain people as everyone here and other SM platforms have acknowledged and Abhimanyu was good but against this guy he never stood a chance.
Bollywood doesn't deserve this level of talent tbh, Watching the movie for a third time and finding nuances everytime..... From his mannerisms to his expressions and dialogue delivery, he truly lived the character. Special mentions to the writers as well, have seen several topics here complaining about badly written villain roless and lack of character development..... A step taken in the right direction by supporting new directors and writers by YRF, they have got another successful franchise after Dhoom and maybe they will also make a War franchise given how successful that movie turned out.
