This embroidery piece has my first ever knitting sample sewn onto it. This piece was very cathartic to create, because it involved me learning the craft I was highlighting. This piece is a reminder for us to remember and honour those who weave our clothing, even if we never met them.

[CHAT] When you use linen or even weave that is 28 count and go over 2, how many strands do you prefer to use?

Pua Kumbu, is a traditional woven textile synonymous with the Iban indigenous tribe of Sarawak. The fibers & dyes used are from the forests of Borneo and the it's know for the fine weaves. Using allegory symbols, it is gifted to newborns, married couples, harvest festival and used even in death.
Not sure if I'm doing this right. I'm about 8 weeks into my 3rd grow. This time I am utilizing a rope garden trellis. My goal is to keep as even a canopy that I can. I have been bending branches just before they are about to snap trying to weave them under the trellis.
I completed my gradient weave (thank you for the helpful tips!) and have a question. The weave is looser than I like, even after fulling. What dent heddle should I try for a second go at this project? This was done on a 10 dent rigid heddle. (2nd photo is before wet setting.)

Rescued this Fenton basket weave bowl from a yard sale today. Wasn't even priced for sale, it was full of dirt and a dead plant on the porch. They gave me it for $4. Still a couple spots that need more scrubbing, but no chips or cracks.

I figured out how to triple or even quadruple weave without clipping into a gcd in savage raids.
As we all know both Disciple of War and Disciple of Magic classes and jobs can weave only two ogcds between gcd casts.
The keyword for weaving is in the name; weaving > weave. That made me think about Disciple of the Hand job, weaver. If use weaver abilities, naturally all of the abilities should count as weaving.
I will experiment on how efficient this new weaving technique is during tomorrows reclears of e9s and e10s as they do not have damage checks. I will finally have time and materials to craft combed woolen rugs for my housing.

[CHAT] Fabric Question - make the jump to even weave?
I'm relatively new to cross stitch. My first project was a scandinavian style kit on 14 ct aida which I found to be pretty easy. My second project I'm doing on 16 ct aida. I have a couple other projects I want to get going after I finish my current one, and I'm thinking of using linen or evenweave instead of aida. But I'm somewhat nervous, so have a few questions:

How much harder is it really? I definitely notice a difference between 14 ct and 16 ct, but it's really just more time consuming?

What kind of linen or even weave is a best for the first time not using aida?

Am I crazy to do my first even weave project on a denim or navy colored fabric? I feel like people saw it's hard to see the holes.
Sorry for a ton of questions, just trying to figure out if I'll be in over my head. I don't want my fabric choice to take the joy out of cross stitch for me.
Working on my basket weave blanket. Hopefully 7 skeins will be enough. If not I will have to substitute with some teal, and make it even more colorful than it is now.

[WIP] After years of doing kits with the supplied Aida, I finally have my first start on even weave! I'm extra paranoid about getting off count with it, but I've been wanting to do a project on different fabric for a while. Any special tips?
First attempt at doing embroidered jewelry. The fabric weave was too loose, but now the next pair will look even better.
The Mahampy Weavers' workshop has gone solar! After delays caused by COVID -19, the panels have been fitted providing the women with a space to weave even in the dark days of the rainy season.
Basic, but fancy: 100% cashmere 3/1 twill. Keeping my beat even is not going great, but I figure it’ll give the basic weave some handmade charm.
The largest weaving I've tried yet. I had a lot of trouble getting the tension even all the way across when I tried warping the full loom before, but I got it now. I also forgot just how much space is needed to weave a 4 ft project with a 4 ft stick. Hopefully it will be a nice lightweight throw.

[CHAT] Very tiny even-weave linen
Hello!
I am attempting to embark on the project of a lifetime. I'm going to be making a map of Middle Earth, adding in CountryMagicStitch's LOTR patterns in the appropriate places. The highest size of even-weave linen I've been able to find is 40 holes /inch, but if I use even that, my project is going to take up an entire wall. I'm hoping to find something that would take up more like 4 feet by 3 feet, but I don't know if there even IS any even weave linen that small.
So I guess my questions are:
- Does anyone know of somewhere that sells ridiculously tiny even-weave? Or,
- Does anyone have experience sewing on a sheet or something that would be able to take small enough stitches?

I wove this on a pin loom a while ago and I'm told it was an even weave. I'd like to make more but I don't know how. I remember that I didn't warp separately from the weft, it was continuous. (This was at an event)
Want to know if others don't play weaves because Fatshark put the crafting system that most people wanted into weaves instead of the base game. I just find it hard to even try playing them since just thinking about it makes me mad at the weaves game mode.
Recommendation/Warning: Do NOT buy Joanne's "even weave" Aida. It's not even. While this might be passable for some flat projects, it will 3D object construction. I found out the hard way. I even tried again with a new piece of Joanne Aida, thinking it was a fluke, and had the same issue.
