I work at a call center and asked for his last name to look him up in our system.

"Mirman" he says. In my head I'm like "ooh like Eugene"

"First name please"

"Eugene" took a few seconds to actually register.

"Omg like from Bob's Burgers!"

"Yeah that's me"

I continued to help him with what he called about and he thanked me for my help and I thanked him for his comedy and told him my husband and I love going to his comedy festival. He said "Well, nice to meet you"

It's called Hold On... and it features comedians chatting with Eugene and then telling a story/anecdote. It's worth listening to just for Eugene's voice imo as it is soothing as anything. (Also the Kristin Schall episode is adorable. That woman is awesome.)

Aside from the "Belcher Family episodes" i'd recommend listening to the Jim Gaffigan one too. Jim tells the story of opening for the Pope. The goddamn Pope! It's very funny.

So if that sounds like your kinda thing you should check it out. It's free like all podcasts and is available wherever good podcasts are available from.
