Several years back I got a bit enamored by the 01 tool steel blades coming out of Bark River. I finally get to go through town and just wanted to know if anyone was a fan and if they had any good suggestions for me to pick up while I am there.
Hey I am in the process of driving from NJ to Michigan by myself. I just stopped tonight at a Comfort Inn off 23 north in Fenton. My ultimate destination is the trapper fair in Escanaba. I'll be setting up a table and staying until Sunday. If anyone has any suggestions for me while I'm up here please let me know.
EDIT: Hey everyone thanks for all the suggestions. The things I got to enjoy were great and I loved the UP. Unfortunately I barely had any free time. I guess I should have explained I was up there to work. I don't trap but work for a tannery, and I was representing the company I work for at the convention. I definitely want to travel up there in the future and explore everything the UP has to offer. Thanks again!
