Hi guys! The BTS Butter Comeback Promotional Schedule just dropped, and I am excited! I heard this interesting clip from Eric Nam's podcast where he described his experiences as a Korean American breaking into the Kpop industry, and he explained the meaning of "Butter" in Korean slang. He mentions that when he was first making music in Korea, the music industry told him he sang like "butter" which means something along the lines of "too American" or "too Westernized". There have been some army theories that BTS's Butter could be connected to this slang in some way. I think that would be a fun, cheeky way to address the criticisms of westernization they sometimes receive. Throw it over a dance-pop beat, and it could be a really fun and meaningful track!

Or if its just about slathering some butter all over yourself, that'll be good too. I am sure it's gonna be good either way!

Eric Nam, Armaan Malik and Kshmr announced the first k-pop+i-pop (is that a thing lol?) song that's gonna come out this Friday. Honestly I've always had an idea about how k-pop (or any pop really) and Indian music could be merged because Indian music can give it a very unique edge but I also feel that this merge has to be done very carefully, taking care of the intricacies or it'll just be a lot of different noises merged together.

Personally, I think it the song could come out either really nicely or very generic. Also I'm not really sure about how Armaan is going to approach this, whether he's gonna focus on pop music or whether they're going to play with Indian tones as well. Personally I'd really like if they could merge both. It would be more significant as well. Hoping it turns out to be good 🤞

Edit: The unreleased song's name is Echo as far as I know

Edit 2: I'm also realllllyyyyyy hoping that they use both Hindi/urdu and Korean in the song. I'm so excited I hope they don't disappoint.

The first ever collab ever happened in Bollywood industry and K-pop(if i am right) that eric nam collaborated with bollywood artists Arman malik and KSHMR.

I am so proud that it's a beginning of a new era in music industry. His song released on 21st May 2021. Do check it out!
