#New kids on the block
Fremantle’s four national draftees watched on as their new teammates hit the track at Cockburn.
First-round pair Jye Amiss, Neil Erasmus, slider Matt Johnson and Next Generation Academy graduate Eric ‘Roy’ Benning spent time chatting with coach Justin Longmuir on the sidelines but didn’t join in with the main session.
All four are expected to join in for the first time in the coming days.
The club is still working through the logistics of Victorian rookie pick-up Karl Worner’s move west.

Small forward Lachie Schultz trained away from the main group.
Schultz walked laps alongside new forwards coach Jaymie Graham before doing various exercises under the watchful eye of the club’s strength-and-conditioning staff.
Injury-prone youngster Sam Sturt was also on a modified program, running laps on his own.
“I’m going well”, Sturt told curious Freo fans on the sidelines as they asked about his progress.
There looks to be far less players in the rehabilitation group compared to seasons gone by.

Connor Blakely has returned to pre-season in terrific shape as he looks to cement his spot in the senior side next year.
Blakely, who has one more season on his contract, was the perennial substitute in 2021.
But he’s putting in the hard yards to give himself the best opportunity to become a regular in the 22.
The big-bodied midfielder/defender, who has tallied 78 games in seven seasons at Fremantle.
The 25-year-old was cut from the senior list and re-drafted as a rookie last week alongside Mitch Crowden.
#Liam’s looking the goods
Exciting goalsneak Liam Henry is another Docker in tip-top shape, adding a bit of muscle to his slightly-built frame.
Henry, a top-10 draft pick in 2019, showed glimpses of his enormous potential last season but will be looking to do that consistently in 2022.
The 20-year-old has played 20 AFL games in two seasons, booting 11 goals.
I'm really looking for the Stratocaster tones but I'm already own an sg and I'm not familiar and don't feel at home playing on the Stratocaster Should I replace my neck pickup with a Stratocaster pickup and keep the sg bridge pickup? I really dig the Eric Johnson strat tone so I might go for the Eric Johnson pickups
All 3 of those guys were among the best WRs in the NFL at some point in their career, yet none of them played beyond their age 30 season, besides Dez who had a minuscule role in his age 32 comeback season. I know father time can be a bitch, but it's surprising that these guys couldn't produce beyond their primes.
Also makes me wonder which current star WRs might have a similar career trajectory?
It's pretty interesting to see that Lewis made just one Pro Bowl despite being a stud at the position for way longer than one season. No doubt his 2003 season was awesome. Lewis had 2,066 rushing yards and a 5.3 YPC in 16 games that year. Looks like O.J. killed it since he became the first RB ever to reach 2,000 in a single-season.
This track took a few months to get right with a lot of work needing to go into economy and alternate picking. It's hard to get a clean take without a mistake somewhere along the line but after several takes this afternoon, I finally got one I was happy with.
