From chapter 8:
The sisters, on hearing this, repeated three or four times how much they were grieved, how shocking it was to have a bad cold, and how excessively they disliked being ill themselves; and then thought no
more of the matter: and their indifference towards Jane when not immediately before them restored Elizabeth to the enjoyment of all her former dislike.
I am a litte confused by the adverbial clause of time in this sentence.
An Elizabeth-Jane here. It's university application season for me, and I want a fresh start in a new place. I've been Beth all my life and I hate it. Liz doesn't float my boat either. I want something really unusual and bouncy! Any ideas? Even any for Jane? I know it's really simple but I want something cool.
why did julien say their mother "left them a clue to find each other"?
i've searched up jane elizabeth and.... ? there's nothing that seems culturally relevant?
Lady Jane Grey was executed by being beheaded on the block. She was very young, only 16. She was a teenager. She was my age, and I feel deeply sympathetic for her. She did not deserve such a fate. Lady Jane Grey was a charismatic and smart young woman who had a bright future ahead of her, only for it to be diminished.
Catherine Howard had no say in marrying King Henry. Her family used her as a pawn in their game to ascend to power. As a woman of her time, she had no say or choice in the matter. Her fate was sealed when she was married off to him. She was a teenager just like Lady Jane Grey, and had much youth in her. So much spirit and happiness. Sadly, she did not survive and was also beheaded.
As a teenager, I stand for this generation and the lost souls of the past. These voices that were lost to the annals of history will not go unheard and will forever echo down through generations to come. Young people will be rulers, leaders, role models, and will change this fucking damn world.
Rest in peace Lady Jane Grey and Catherine Howard. You deserve to be happy and loved. God bless your souls.

Would miss Bingley still have told Darcy? Would he have resisted seeing Elizabeth to separate jane and bingley?
