A list of puns related to "Electronic Entertainment Expo 2012"
Quite simply, it's video game Christmas β¦ but in June.
What started as a boring trade show in the late 90s has evolved to a must-watch smorgasbord of events as the biggest video game companies in the world gather and take the wraps off all the big projects they're planning on releasing for the next year and beyond." -https://www.abc.net.au/news/2021-06-11/what-is-e3-and-when-can-you-watch-this-year/100161138

#Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3)
>The Electronic Entertainment Expo, commonly referred to as E3, is a premier event for gaming fans all around the world. Presented by the Entertainment Software Association (ESA), it is used by many video game publishers and accessory manufacturers to introduce and advertise upcoming games and game-related merchandise. E3 is considered to be the biggest gaming news expo of the year and is known by many gamers in the community.
>E3 used to be an industry-only event; individuals who wished to attend were required by the ESA to verify a professional connection to the video-game industry.
>E3 is usually held in late May or early June at the Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC) in Los Angeles.
I want to torture you with one last E3 discussion.
The topic of this discussion is not this years E3, or about the games shown this year. In here i'd like to invite you to discuss the E3 in general.
How did the Event evolve over the years?
How does the E3 compare to other gaming conventions?
Is the E3 fun/worth it to attend in person?
What do you love about the Event? What do you hate?
If you could, what would you change?
In case anyone was unaware this year will be the first year E3 is selling ticket to the public. Until now E3 was just for industry professionals and press. According to the news they are going to be selling 15,000 tickets to the public. As far as I know it's still free for industry and press however.
I am probably going to be going along with some coworkers and industry friends but I wanted to see if there was interest within REBL. I figure we have some members that live close enough to easily attend as well. I don't know how much chance there is to organize but maybe there's a chance to split lodging costs or organize a meet up at least. Either way post a reply and let me know.
Event takes place JUNE 13-15, 2017 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
According to the news tickets go on sale FEBRUARY 13.
"The first 1,000 of those tickets will sell for $149 each, the rest will sell for $249."
