A list of puns related to "Electronic Counter Countermeasures"
The dark side bombers are almost as worthless as the default blaster turret. EC doesn't prevent anything but missile locks (even the ion turret can hit through it) compared to the light side's astromech repair which can heal through incoming damage.
Hey Heroes,
I wanted to create a series on counter heroes who have been high winrates or make a significant impact on the game. This is where we can create a Wiki of game knowledge to learn from each other.
Thus Countermeasure is being born...
The first hero we will look at is Mr. Bones himself, Leoric.
- Who are the best heroes to counter him and why?
- What big brain strats can you use to win the lane vs Leoric?
- What are the biggest mistakes a player can do against Leo?

Hey Heroes,
Thank you for the amazing feedback on Part 1 of our Countermeasure Series. If you missed the first post, you can go HERE.
Today's target in our crosshairs is Ms. Bug Butt herself, Zagara.

If the long ball counter works as well as they showed in the trailer, this'll solve all our problems especially the winning back the ball which'll solve backpassing.
Everywhere, it seems very easy to jam comms, jam speeders, jam sensors, even jam a tractor beam. In our world, jamming a military radio isn't easy to do, so how is it so easy for them?
I am looking into the ropes with counters built into the handles, they measure Calories, Weight, Timer, & Rotations. They also have corded and cordless ropes. Does anyone use these? Thanks.
Today's upgrade card is Electronic Countermeasures
"While defending you may exhaust this card to spend 1 defense token that your opponent targeted with an Accuracy result."
Yesterday we discussed a few officers that helped you to defend your ships. Today, let's talk about one of the cards that defines how ships live and die in Armada. Electronic Countermeasures (ECM) can be found on Large ships in so many tournament and casual fleets. This card allows you to break a fundamental rule of the game, that defense tokens targeted with Accuracy icons can't be spent. This ability is so good that ECM might as well come stapled to any Large ship that has a defensive retrofit. Being able to reliably use your Brace token to reduce damage by half is the difference between life and death in a lot of cases.
In my meta at least, there has been a push for a few waves toward giant hay-maker style fleets, where one player tries to take out the biggest target in the enemy fleet in one or two powerful blows. ECM is so key to survival against these kinds of fleets that it makes choosing ships that don't have a slot for ECM weaker in comparison. Perhaps if the meta shifts to smaller attacks from a variety of sources instead of Large/Huge ships attacking Large ships, then ECM will see the inside of the binder more and defensive retrofits like Early Warning System will be more useful.
This card is so good that I don't have any specific builds for it, I'll just close out with saying that you should put this card on every one of your Medium or Large ships that can take it. And if you're Imperial and can't take one, consider taking Minister Tua on one of your ships to bring ECM anyway.
What do you think of Electronic Countermeasures? Is it worth the hype?
