A list of puns related to "Electorate Of Trier"
This is absurd. I thought Miller was a good coach but his rotations, IN GARBAGE TIME, include meaningless vets. These rotations are mind boggling. Get him out of here.
(sorry for grammar, I'm still learning English)
After being banned since his last apperance in Cannes (for "Melancholia"), Lars von Trier will present his new film, "The House That Jack Built", though out of competition.
And it hypes me, as I have the chance to spend days in the festival next month. Lars von Trier is probably my favourite director, although I always felt his movies were far from perfection, he always manages to fascinate me. Plus, I find it particulary brilliant that all of his films are so different, exploring many kind of movies (musical, genre,...) along with keeping the same obsessions.
I grant you many of the arguments used in securing the initial result have turned out to be fabrications and lies, that a 50% win or lose watermark for such a significant, country-changing issue should be perhaps moved to 66% to be sure that we're not just splitting the country, a clear majority perhaps, to not be unreasonable, and (given Parliament has turned down the negotiated deal) the choice should be between Hard Brexit and Remain. Why shouldn't we be more democratic, hold another referendum, see what people really think, given we have found where the EU's actual negotiating position is. We can have campaigns running on facts rather than outright speculation.
While working on a short video about Lars von Trier's Antichrist I was trying to find examples of how this film was so mixed on its release. Some critics love it and consider it an arthouse classic (it's even on the Criterion collection) and some consider it an awful film (I remember first hearing about this film in 2009 through an issue of Total Film where they gave it a one star review, later giving it a five star review when the DVD was released).
I find it fascinating how Lars Von Trier's films create such a divided opinion. He's definitely a provocateur and succeeds in that. What does r/flicks think about his films, specifically Antichrist? Do you love it or hate it? Why? Would love to hear what you have to say about it. :)
I mean, we could always send Knox/DSJ to the G-League and as the season is coming to an end soon, I feel like if we wanna start getting some wins to end the season strong, Trier should play as we need the offense/spacing he provides. Thoughts?
We all know Yang is sky high in the polls with people who are young and people who didn't like the options in 2016. This is just another sign that our guy is under-represented in the polls and that he will shock the world in a little over a week.
Please note I don't have a direct source on this, but the hosts of Pod Save America were discussing it in their latest podcast. If someone could help me find the source on the DM Register website that would be fab!
Labour offered a nuanced, fully costed and well researched vision taking organic policy and already-implemented policy from other countries to tackle the huge issues we're facing as a nation (as the most unproductive in Europe with falling life expectancy) - they outlined the issues we face and exactly what we could do to remedy them.
The Tories said "get Brexit done" to every question they were asked and had a policy platform less interesting than a wall covered in sick. They focus grouped various areas of the country to find the rhetorical sweet spot in their message and then hammered it home to the public - they relied on the stupidity of the nation to simplify the country's troubles into one simple message - IMMIGRANTS AND BREXIT. Of course it's nonsense - of course countries with negative immigration aren't high wage utopias with great services and housing; immigration is a microscopic part of the argument that only really applies to people like HGV drivers, warehouse workers and fruit pickers. The poverty, monopolised ownership, low wages and lack of services in this country are a CHOICE as they always have been.
I'm sick of hearing that phrase in the title, especially when airily spouted from Labour members.
Labour respected the intelligence of the electorate and it hugely, hugely backfired.
What the Tories have done and will continue to do is what demagogues always do in democracy - it has been apparent since Socrates himself and Plato followed with thoughts along those lines:
" In the dialogues of Plato, the founding father of Greek Philosophy β Socrates β is portrayed as hugely pessimistic about the whole business of democracy.Β In Book Six of The Republic, Plato describes Socrates falling into conversation with a character called Adeimantus and trying to get him to see the flaws of democracy by comparing a society to a ship. If you were heading out on a journey by sea, asks Socrates, who would you ideally want deciding who was in charge of the vessel? Just anyone or people educated in the rules and demands of seafaring? The latter of course, says Adeimantus, so why then, responds Socrates, do we keep thinking that any old person should be fit to judge who should be a ruler of a country?
Socratesβs point is that voting in an election is a skill, not a random intuition. And like any skill, it needs to be taught systematically to people. Letting the citizenry vote without an education is as irresponsible as putting them in charg
... keep reading on reddit β‘Some pages I follow posting shit like "if you voted tory, next time you see a homeless person, you did that". I agree with this to some extent, but this is not a practical way of communicating our frustration with the election result. That sort of thinking is slow poison. I don't just mean electorally. I mean your head and your heart.
We have to forgive the electorate or we alienate them further. A labour government can happen in 5 years and bitterness only impedes it. Brexit is now boris's problem for the next while. By the time the next election comes round it won't be out there hopelessly dividing labour voters (this isn't a denial that corbyn was a problem either). There's reason for hope in the future. Back up you get, there's a good lad.
Thanks in advance!
I have reason to believe Knicks guard, former Wildcat, Allonzo Trier is involved in an Insta-scam.
I bought a Ron Artest themed T-Shirt from https://www.instagram.com/passfirstmafia/?hl=en for my brother's birthday for $40. Expected delivery 7-10 days. A day before his birthday I received a text from DHL saying I should pay the import charge. I did.
My brothers birthday passed and I became concerned. Contacted the seller, and he told me to contact DHL.
DHL then told me that the seller had not given the item to them to be shipped. I have tried countless times, across different channels to contact the seller, but he ignores me.
I then check his page and realise lots of people are in the same boat...not receiving what they paid for...except Knicks guard Allonzo Trier, who is displayed proudly on the sellers Instagram story. Maybe he is in on it?
Has anyone heard of passfirstmafia...? I really want to get what I paid for..
Because they're dying off at a faster rate every year.
Punish them in the polls.
Fucking vote.
