Hi everyone, I'm new to Nepenthes and looking to get one or two plants to grow on my windowsill, and would love to get some suggestions on some cool ones as well as any tips or info you can provide on them!
I love the ones with striped, flared peristomes, and a big fan of squat rounded pitchers. I saw some Veitchii but since I'm new to these I'm trying not to spend too much in case I kill it. Do you have any other suggestions that might work?
I was looking around and saw this cross: (veitchii x mira) x (burbidgeae x edwardsiana)
How do you think it would fare in my conditions?
Some info on my growing conditions: Where: Los Angeles, California Growing Space: West Facing Window Temp range: Average mid 70s during the day but some spikes up to 90F in summer. Mid 60s to 50F at night in Winter. Humidity: Natural humidity around 30%, humidifier running to keep it around 60%
Anyone growing an Eddy in lower humidity conditions. I typically only grow hardier plants but I may be able to pick up an established plant. Temps average around 63 to 81 farenheit. But humidity hangs in the 50s.
