James A. Farrell was an intriguing Papal agent. On the latest Talk About Games podcast Ryan brings up King's Knight for NES. This game was featured on a James & Mike Monday in which one of the "sleepy James" memes comes from. I went back and watched some of it again and it reminded me about how James is mostly to blame for the series ending (remember muh 6 or 7 month hiatus). Mike obviously did all of the work about choosing the games, playing them beforehand, and having interesting things to talk about for them. J&MM had been in the toilet for a while towards the end, but it was all due to James' laziness and lack of interest in gaming. Mike tried to cover it up by saying they were burnt out and that it had been a long-running series. The truth is that James contributed very little to J&MM and wasted the last vestige of the original Cinemassacre on 5:40 and Rex Viper. That's right, James gave up that one day of the month to film J&MM for "no time/muh wife & kids" and rehearsing for Rex Viper. Their first music video released the same month of the J&MM hiatus video. At that point it was a done deal for Bames. I'm glad Mike finally left the channel.

Edmund J. Davis’ term has been one of turmoil. Denied the RCU nomination, he and his supporters walked out of the Convention and nominated him on the President’s Party ticket. His sole goal was to secure enough votes to try and throw the election to the house, where he could try and secure a deal to keep the presidency in exchange for his supporters backing the agreed candidate’s running mate with his support bloc in the senate.
He nearly succeeded.
Davis managed strong showings in the Plains and Western states, coming close to winning in Nebraska, Columbia, Oregon, and Nevada. The Legitimacy of the election was questioned due to the interference of his Federal Police in voting, and his attempts to control the media.
Multiple slates of electors were submitted, and votes counted in regards to the immensely close states, but by the time congress convened, a decision was made in the shadows: to settle the election, and to prevent it from being thrown to the house where the President could unduly influence the result, the election would be given to James G. Blaine, but for the first time in American History, where would be two Vice Presidents, the Legislative (First) Vice President, and the Executive (Second) Vice President.
The Position of Second VP would be officially established as an cabinet level position appointed at the behest of the President, but would serve in function as a second Vice President. As well, Charles Francis Adams Sr. would be named for the entirety of Blaine’s term as Secretary of State, in the midst of other things.
The Result would be 126 to 125 in Blaine’s favour.
Davis was furious, and refused to accept the results, even demanding that the Federal Police arrest his opponents for corruption, leading to the resignation of the entirety of his cabinet in the later days of his term. Most of these names originally began with the letter “Y” or even a vowel sound. Since Latin and other languages from the region/time period do not have the letter “J” in their alphabet, what makes them begin with J? Was there a point in time where the “J” was arbitrarily added?
