What are some non-edgy reasons that a vampire would make active use of a sword in Modern Nights?

I've seen way too many people crafting edgy sword before A10... DO NOT. THERE ARE STILL TRADE RATES YOU CAN USE TO GET MORE MATERIALS!!!!!
For example if you craft it in a9, you're wasting materials!!
A9 trade is 2 wood is 1 fish right?
IN A10 THE TRADE IS 3 WOOD IS 1 FISH!!!

[DS] [2007-2009] game focuses i believe on a black sword outlined red. guy who wields it is kinda edgy. RPG i think most notable thing i remember about it is combat and a rediculous ice puzzle.
Platform(s): Nintendo DS, maybe Gameboy advance I cannot honestly remember but i think it was dual screen
Genre: Action, RPG, maybe adventure
I remember a 3rd person view.
Estimated year of release: 2007 - 2010
Graphics/art style: i remember it being pretty cartoony maybe more anime style, the world was very grim and dark
Notable characters: 2 main characters both boys one used a swords and was really dark and edgy if memory serves well, the other a cheery guy that used guns. i think they had a sun/moon theme going on between them
Notable gameplay mechanics: the stinkin ice puzzle, bosses that dropped power ups.
Other details: i remember the game being decently difficult but i could have just been bad at games as a kid, i think it may have been more adult themed to but im not sure. character portraits would come up when dialogue started. one stage i remember more of took place on a train and had a twin boss fight.

Swords and edgy pointy sticks
Hi all!
First of all, new-ish player. Pardon me if I make silly mistakes.
Second, I have finished the game and started playing the following, but I am not satisfied with my melee weapon (3.1k punk queen, gold rarity, I am legend 17 with 5pts in the relevant damage legend skill).
The problem is not the damage, the problem is that itβs not satisfying to use (for me). I was having waaaaaay more fun with the expcalibur lower down in the levels.
So, I am looking for a similar experience. I have spent some time looking around, and my alternatives are:
- find a bastard sword, gold rarity, from... bozak tokens???
- the blade of order fantasy weapon (or I guess the katana)
- a katana (premium prefix?)
So, question is:
I am looking for a weapon that will play similarly to the expcalibur. Am I missing anything? What would be the best way (read least time spent) to get the relevant item? I have done a couple of attempts in Bozak and in the prison heist. Read through all the relevant guides and all, but still have a long way to actually completing the horde/guru level rewards. (Also another thing: what difficulty do you suggest for the prison horde? The 1 min loot timer kinda scares me...). Would ramping up the difficulty to nightmare and trying to farm GRE chests at stuffed turtle/any other quarantine be a valid alternative? Any tips on that as well?
