As predicted, this was a bit of a farce. The "Tap or Snap" elimination match was good, Gibson vs. Mysterio was aight, everything else was pretty much awful. I've heard some criticism of Joe Hendry and Greg Lambert on commentary - I actually thought they were okay. Not offensively bad anyways. Way too much focus overall on UK vs US "angle" rather than just putting on solid matches. Most guys didn't get their own entrance music or videos, it made it feel very amateurish considering the venue they're running.
About 400 people bought tickets for an 11000 seat arena. I can see the later shows on the tour being cancelled because, as it stands, this isn't sustainable. Between paying for these huge arenas and paying top shelf talent like Mysterio and Morrison, they can't be coming close to covering their costs. The FreeSports deal must be super lucrative.
Why they didn't start by running smaller rooms I've got no idea. If they'd moved this event to somewhere like the Olympia instead, which has a long history of prowres/fighting events, it would've had a chance at having a decent atmosphere.

Foreword: This is a bit of a rant, so apologies if this subreddit doesn't allow these posts, but I need to vent a bit since I'm still very angry and disappointed.
Anyone else still very angry at how the Echo Arena website (and Ticketmaster) distributed the Liverpool gig tickets?
(my backstory to the sale day is) The tickets went on sale on my uni graduation day, and since my graduation was 8-11am the same day I was sat in the ceremony, constantly refreshing my phone until I eventually saw the 'buy tickets' screen, which I immediately pressed, only to be brought to a screen with a walking man moving ever so slowly across the screen. So in my hand I had my phone, not really paying much attention to the ceremony because I really desperately wanted the tickets to see Macca. I didn't refresh the page at all for a good hour, until I decided to open another tab and see if anyone else was having much luck buying them, to which I found news articles saying they sold out within seconds.... well damn, disappointment was a complete understatement, especially since I hit 'buy tickets' literally the moment they went on sale
I get there was a huge demand for them, but why keep people waiting in the queue (which was still progressing, since every 10 mins or so it would move a bit more, which led me to believe I was reserving them and that I would soon be brought to a payment screen), and get peoples hopes up if they'd sold out instantly? Just seems like a waste of time. I wouldn't have minded, but I was sat on the buy page for a good hour before they went on sale, and refreshing every 15-20 seconds (even quicker when it got close to the release time)?!
Whats more, to see the very same tickets, which cost £72.50 to ~£120 being sold on the likes of Gumtree for £700 right now is sickening, absolutely disgraceful. It's been an absolutely dream to see Paul live, and I was hoping this would finally be the opportunity, but I guess it's not which is disheartening

What is our problem with hiring some new/fresh faces for once from outside the club/PL bubble ? Hilariously the one new face to arrive (Brands) was hounded out the club and never allowed to do anything anyway.
As the title says, I'm a bit fed up of having screeching kids in my ears at the moment, and from what I've found from one of the most recent posts, a lot of us feel the same way about it!
I thought I'd reach out & see if we could organise say a discord for 18+ Echo Arena players so we can chill & have some games without getting ourselves a headache.
