A list of puns related to "Dunston, Tyne And Wear"
2nd Request with lower amount
I have 2 loans successfully paid off as well as a good rapport on this sub, I am looking for 250 as 8m wanting to get my debts down so I can build back credit. I have evidence of employment and past repayments and all necessary documents
I've just moved to a new area for my new job, meaning I've had to pay off rent for my previous place, as well as put down deposit and pay first months rent to a new landlord. This has meant I've spent just under 2k GBP on housing costs this month alone.
I'm due to get a substantial pay-cheque on the 18/02/22, meaning the sum of Β£`1000 can be repayed on that date (meaning it will arrive in your account on the 21/02/22 at latest). Please let me know if there's any evidence or supplementary information I can provide you.
Hi all, 8j a bit of a pinch been off sick recently and built up some debt on Internet bill as a result of not being able to afford it (I only get statutory sick pay when sick which is a third of my weekly pay) and need to pay the bill off which is Β£98, otherwise it would get restricted and I won't be able to work from Home. I'm able to pay some just need the last 50 to prevent being shut off.
I signed up for this comp for a bit of fun, as the events looked heavy for me, but I knew some other guys going and was looking forward to a good day out. Had no real expectations but actually ended up winning my category of 9 people!
Event 1: Log Ladder
80kg, 90kg, 100kg, 110kg
Overhead is my main weakness, especially log, so was just hoping for a quick first two logs. And thatβs exactly what I managed! Slight grind on the 90kg but still relatively fast I think. Had a crack at the 100kg anyway, managed the clean but was nowhere near pressing it. Iβve only ever pressed 100kg on a log once, and it was a lovely wooden one. My PB on a metal log is 92.5kg so there was no way this was happening, but why not try whilst itβs there ey
Event 2: Max Deadlift
20kg jumps starting at 200kg. My raw deadlift PB is 222.5kg so when I signed up for this, I thought Iβd be placing pretty low in this event. However, suits were allowed and I managed to buy one a few weeks beforehand. Managed to get used to it pretty quick as on the day I pulled 260kg for a huge PB! Had a go at 280kg afterwards too, but just after my knees I felt like I was getting pulled forward so bailed out. Still over the moon with this, and excited to keep pushing my suited deadlift in the coming months.
Event 3: Sandbag Medley into Sled Drag
Itβs worth mentioning here that for every event I had to go first. The running order didnβt change depending on the results of the previous event, they just kept it the same all day. So for this, I had to act as the pace setter. Fortunately, loading is a good event for me! Managed to get the 80kg, 90kg, and 100kg sandbags loaded pretty quickly, so moved onto the 200kg sled drag. This absolutely sucked! Felt like it was barely moving at all. Right near the end, I fell backwards just short of the finish line, so had to scramble to stand up and get it fully over. Was really kicking myself for wasting some precious seconds there, until the rest of the class went and not a single other person managed to finish the course. I couldnβt believe it! I thought Iβd messed up but I actually managed to win by a fair margin.
Event 4: Frame Hold 200kg
Again, up first so no idea how long Iβd have to hold out for. Training for this didnβt go bad really, but I just really hated doing it. Managed to do 30 seconds in the gym, so was hoping for around 40 on comp day. Luckily, th
Each day, people vote with upvotes ( and downvotes ) which county should be eliminated from England. Up to now, the North has survived pretty intact. But in the latest round Tyne & Wear has been getting a lot of votes.
What we need to do is upvote other counties and downvote any that mention Tyne and Wear or Northumberland ( or even Durham and Cumbria ). The post with the highest upvotes gets eliminated and the post with the lowest votes gets immunity in the next round.
Let's show the southerners we mean business!
As hilarious it is to see Sunderland lose, looks like theyβve a good chance of promotion this year into the Championship.
Obviously hope we stay up but it may be a silver lining if regrettably we donβt make the cut at the end of the season. To play our biggest rivals with never seen before resources.
Am I right in saying itβs been over 5 years since weβve played the mackems and over 10 years since weβve beat them? Mental.
Would be nice experience from the younger generation of fans.
