A list of puns related to "Duclos"
I read this when I was about 13-14 in the mid nineties.
The story is about a kingdom under threat by an evil sorcerer or something who commands an army of Night beasts. The king of this land has a cloak of diamonds given to him by a Gandalf type wizard who wears a rainbow cloak himself. The king is deathly afraid of the dark and has a penchant for melting people he doesn’t like in the wax from the thousands of candles he surrounds himself with.
The protagonist is a young man who learns to fence from a legendary swordsman who himself squared off against the dark sorcerer but had his eardrums and balance shattered in the conflict.
At the end of the story supporting characters discover a moss covered hill that’s actually an earth mound covered in bones. They clean off the moss, shine up the bones and make their last stand on the hill.
Thanks everyone!
To the Political Bureau of the Polish Workers' Party,
Socialist greetings to the proud leaders of the Polish Workers' Party.
I have sent this message to you over concerns of the Jewish Question regarding Zionism. Officially, the French Republic has not taken one side or the other regarding the Palestine Question. However, we have seen that the Polish Republic has in fact sided with the proclaimed "State of Israel"
While the French Republican Workers' Party most certainly understands the need for realpolitik, this has brought much worry to us. It is no question that the great minds of Marx, Engels, Lenin and Stalin have all written about Zionism and the reasons why they are wrong. If we are to let our socialist parties develop pro-Zionist elements to them, this could cause dire problems in the future.
While we cannot decide on the decisions of your party, we highly recommend ensuring that any pro-Zionist factions or elements within your glorious parties.
- General Secretary of the French Republican Workers' Party, Jacques Duclos
