A list of puns related to "Dqb2"
Do the different versions of DQB2 (PS, Xbox, Windows, Switch) share the same online world?
as in you can visit the towns built by players playing on a different platform?
or are they locked in to one console/system? if so, which one do you think has the larger user base?
If I put a hotel and resort on that beach area right in the center of the island will villagers use it?
Maybe a dumb question that's down to personal preference. But I'm curious if anyone else has bought this on several ones. I have it on Switch, played it to death and enjoy it immensely. But I'm just curious, other than the performance upgrade, is there any other real reason to play it on one console vs another?
After ~160hrs, I just finished DQB2 Story and absolutely loved it.
I haven't emotionally connected with a game/characters in awhile, and really took my time.
I hope there is some post-game story beats, but I will probably just focus on finishing the island and Targets.
Ive specifically avoided looking up the game online to avoid spoilers. Now I have come to reddit. What is the post-game community like?
Do the devs have contests like Ive seen in the loading screens?
Thanks!
I came to Hammerhood mountaintop, elevated to the limit and built a room there, the game doesn't register the tablet target. How can I complete this target with this bug?
Edited: After hours of struggling over the mountaintop. I built a stairway from the ground, right next to the tablet hill, all the way to the intersection of Scarlet Sands-Mountaintop-Green Gardens. I built an overlook here and voila, the target is complete.
Perhaps the game registers completion when the view covers at least 2 areas.
Pretty sure this was asked sometime before, but I'm new to the subreddit so--
Me and my girlfriend were playing Dragon Quest Builders 2 on XBOX game pass (PC ver).
We both got to the point where we can visit each other's island and tried to connect to it.
After selecting the join button, the game says that our network connection has error. I've tried to connect to it via laptop using my phone's wi-fi.(to make sure that it's not the internet's problem.)
Nothing seems to work.
We were looking forward to the multiplayer. Please help us.
The screen flashes to life, the camera moving and focusing on a set of tables within a building not seen from the previous viewings. The interior was rather simplistic with stone walls, open windows and wooden floors. Several people were seen either already taking their seats or busily buzzing around setting up the tables for the feast.
"I suppose the girl picked a good Jump this time." Ben's voice muttered from behind the camera. "Connor's most recent jump was Dragon Quest Builders 2, and he just returned from it. In addition to two new companions he's also gathered a few items and perks to allow him to "build" in other worlds. He's also obtained a whole new island for himself, as well as the various residents of the island as followers. The island's supposed to be used for building purposes, but it also works as another home, so it's perfect for Thanksgiving."
"So are you joining us or do you not need to eat?" Homura approached the Benefactor, a barely hidden scowl on her face.
"Technically I don't but it sounds fun." Ben shrugged. "We've got plenty of time, so relax."
The retired time-looper kept her expression, but relented and returned to the dinner tables.
...
The two newest Companions sat at the table with a bored, almost pouting look on their faces. One of the sat with his chair leaned back, arms folded behind his head, and (thankfully clean) boots resting up on the table, while the other seemed to almost cave in on herself, heavily slouching, head in her hands. The two were hesitantly approached by Yonaka.
"Are you guys okay?" The highschool girl asked, prompting a sigh from the two.
"This is a big celebration and they banned me from the kitchen!" The new girl exclaimed, her pink hair flapping about as she shook her head. "I wanted to help too!"
"Same here." The boy grunted. "I can actually make things now, so cooking shouldn't be too hard, but nope. Off limits."
Yonaka stood there for a moment, completely uncertain on how to respond. "W-well, maybe...the kitchen's too busy right now?" Both sets of eyes snapped over to her. "I-I mean that's a metaphor or something, right? "The kitchen has too many cooks?" S-so maybe you were just too late in helping, and any more people would just get in the way?" The two new Companions looked at each other for a moment before grinning.
"That's totally got to be it!" The boy exclaimed. "Yeah, we could do something, but if they've already got everything set up, then we won't much use anyway!"
"And here
... keep reading on reddit β‘Hey folks. Absolutely loving this game.
Having trouble generating Night Soil.
None of my residents anywhere (I only have Furtowfirld, K-Dun and Isle of Awakening with any occupants in them) seem to be using their toilets anymore and generating night soil for me.
Iβve tried setting up extra toilet stations, extra dinner stations, etc.
Itβs just ground to a halt.
And Iβm needing a decent amount of night soil for the IoA oasis creation.
Thanks in advance!
I'm playing Dragon Quest Builder 2 on switch.
I found there is an artifacts on the left hand side and right hand side of the screen.
I assume it uses screen space shadow map (Because it's really fast,
but I can't find any papers discuss about this artifast. ( Maybe I miss it.
Please tell me what causes it or where can I find the anwser :!>
This is what I found in this game:
Hi, I was just wondering if there was a quick way to turn the ground into grass in the green gardens area, or is the only way the worm food? Cheers.
My first attempt at building an nfl stadium, that coincidentally has few right angles. It is currently under construction on my island and Iβve started from the easy inside and working outward. My part 1 video
I don't like games like minecraft, but I'm playing the demo of this game and liking it a lot (I love jrpg and Dq11 is one of my favorites). Will the game keep this style, like plot driven with quests and directions to where to go next or will it become more minecraft style?
If the answer is the first option do you think it's worth 50β¬?
P.S.: thanks everyone, I bought the game! Having fun with the story and building little things at the time.
Hello! I was thinking about picking up a copy of Dragon Quest Builders 2.
I am unsure about which version, I heard the Switch has trouble loading large creations.
Is this a serious issue? Or just very situational?
I usually like building large villages in games like Minecraft and Terraria, and I'm worried that the performance drops.
Does anyone have any experience with this? If so, when does the Switch versions performance start to be an issue?
Is the PS4 version noticeably more performant in this area?
Thank you very much in advance!
TL:DR - > Should I be worried about the Switch versions frame drops while exploring large creations?
EDIT: Thank you all for your replies! They were very helpful, hope to see your builds soon π
I always thought that Xbox was lacking on the JRPG department. However, Xbox has proven me wrong since last year. Is there any other franchise on Xbox I should try?
I finished the main game of DQB2 a week ago and am now near the end of chapter 3 of DQB. While DQB2 is definitely a step above DQB in gameplay I also feel like DQB2 was also a step up in making me more emotionally connected with it through simply having a partner character who's with you for most of the game. It made me wonder if we'll potentially have a partner character in DQB3 if it gets made. What do you guys think, should future DQB games have partner characters? Why or Why not?
My friend and I both have access to other peopleβs island through noticeboard. But when we tried to go to each otherβs island through portal, we can see the island for once. But it showed βa connection error occurredβ when we click it. After that we canβt find it anymore. Has anyone encountered the same problem?
This is a long shot and might seem a bit silly to some people - but basically I digitally pre-ordered DQB2 way back when. It's honestly one of my favorite games, and I've put a lot of time into my IoA. But, being a bit naΓ―ve at the time, my ex and I always bought games on his switch account. His account has still been linked to my switch for the last couple of years, but there is always the chance that he will buy a switch and transfer his account over.
My concern is what would happen if he did - I would then no longer have the pre-order bonuses like the slime recipe. I have stackable slimes everywhere! Does anyone have any idea what might happen? I'm debating trying to track down every slime and just remove them, in case it might corrupt my entire file. I would definitely purchase the game again on my own account, but I doubt I'd be able to get those pre-order bonuses again...
35 % off right now if literally anyone hasnt bought it yet
I was thinking about buying this game but I didn't know if I should play the mainline dragon quest games first, I don't know if I will be super confused not understanding any references.
I'm just wondering whether it's possible to lay blocks horizontally with the upgraded transform-o-trowel?
Also, the chisel... how do I use that? π I know how to chisel the top of blocks, but is it possible to chisel beneath them? I'm also curious about the gap it leaves between blocks when you cut them in half and whether it's possible to chisel two sides of the same block
Hi guys,
Quick question. Firstly been absolutely loving this game since itβs been on game pass and put silly amount of hours in but feel Iβve barely scratched the surface (just finished Skellytraz!).
Iβm away from my Xbox and couldnβt find the answer to this online. But basically can you make rooms without having known the blueprint / recipe in your builderpedia? For example a toilet requires a pot, hand towel and light.
But say I wanted to build a fancier one but donβt know the recipe in game, can I just follow the required items online and do it in game?
Sorry if this seems obvious. Just curious as Iβm not sure how to unlock a lot of new rooms and feel I donβt have many unlocked so far. Hoping to use new ones to expand the pyramid base.
Thank you!
The counter is for some reason stuck at 247 even though I have more that 260 planted. Anyone know what this is and what can I do to fix it
Is it just me are animal or pet ai in this game are annoying?
Just rebuilding my Green Garden to make it a pasture and farms.
Making Green Garden as a pasture seems impossible with a mountain. I am sick seeing my pets roaming around outside
Sadly my pets and animal cannot stick in their room. Iβve seen them roaming on cliffs and some mountain that are unclimbable.
Also breeding an animal is annoying keeps giving me trash.
It will be nice dogs give me some farm seeds instead of trash then cat give me some rare gems.
If there is a sequel of this game hopefully it will improve animal Ai and add more stuff with pets and farming animal.
Like ability to bring animals on a mine cart. NPC like the blue villager picking up the eggs. If possible a butcher or meat room where extra farm animal will be turn to a meat. Monster that can be turn to a farm animal like the bunicorn.
Hello! I'm just starting DQB2 having finished DQB1 - any top tips for me starting out on the new adventure!
With out spoiling can someone tell me how many monster statues there are in the same and how many blocks they take up. As an example: Great Saber Cat 1x3 and the Metal Babble and the Ghost are both 1x1. So IF these were the only ones the the answer would be βone 1x3 and two 1x1sβ.
Iβm building a museum to hold the so I want to leave space for the ones I have not got yet. Thanks so much for answering my weird question.
