Hey guys, as you see from the title I'm going to try and tackle a goal over had for a while and learn Cliffs of Dover by Eric Johnson. I'm a pretty decent player I think, I can play difficult songs like tornado of souls and I'm the one by van Halen and other fast paced shreddy type of stuff. I have a decent knowledge of the fretboard and scales but I'm worried about the crazy EJ arpeggios in the song. To anyone that has learned it, do you have anything that could help me with it? Thanks
So, I bought CLoD last night and booted it up today. I've been BoS for awhile now and have gotten used to my PS5 Controller keybinds. Upon entering CLoD I got a bit overwhelmed with all of the buttons I needed to bind. So, is there a way to download my Keybinds from IL-2 BoS and apply them to IL-2 CLoD?
Help would be greatly appreciated, thanks everyone!

I decided to buy CoD Blitz as its very cheap on steam. It's brilliant. I'm a huge fan of IL-2 BoX and in my opinion the simulation here feels as good / superior. The 109s feel heavy, the spitfires feel nimble. I've spent the last few days experimenting with different aircraft, and liked it so much I also bought the Tobruk expansion which is also incredible. Genuinely surprised at how good this simulator is - given the mess it was in when it first came out.
The multiplayer community seems quiet, but I'm mainly a single player guy anyway. When I booted up the game there seem to be around 11 scripted campaigns included, 50 or so instant action missions and 40+ aircraft. Onto the terrains, they're both awesome. The new desert one especially brings a totally fresh conflict that hasn't been done elsewhere as far as I know.
If you're a WW2 aviation enthusiastic, I really do think its worth picking the bundle up on discount on Steam right now ( Save 31% on IL-2 Sturmovik - Dover Bundle on Steam (steampowered.com) ). For the price of half a DCS module you're looking at 40 aircraft with clickable cockpits and a few hundred hours of high quality content. If I had to put numbers on it, with flaming cliffs + BoX aircraft as 5/10 fidelity, and The Hornet/A10 as 10/10, I'd put the fidelity of these aircraft around 7.5/8.
as far as I'm aware, it also has VR (perhaps in a beta branch / about to release) - I hope this persuades some people to give it a try :)

I am a Norwegian student attending a postgraduate short term study at Kent Law School this term (exchange student). During my time i Kent I want to (besides the studies) also explore attractions nearby. One of the sights I particulary have in mind is the White Cliffs of Dover.
In connection to this, I wonder if anyone could provide me some tips on what the best way to travel there from Canterbury, without driving your own car.

With VR coming right around the corner, I wanted to start a discussion of your thoughts on the title, are you excited for this new update? What would you like to see in the game down the road? Things like that. Personally CloD is easily my favorite WW2 Sim even over GB. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE GB I play the hell out of it. But besides the horrible UI and lack of things like a career mode in CloD, I feel it has, in my opinion the best flight model and sim components out of anything on the market rn!
Wondering if I should pick up Tobruk during the sale or if I should just wait.
So, I've been playing il-2 battle of stalingrad for some time and wanted to give cliffs of dover a try. And my bullets dont seam to hit target, to be exact, the do fly towards target and they should hit them, at least some of them, but nothing happens. I've tested it out on bombers and it's like they are a hologram, everything passes thru. anyone had simillar problem?
