A list of puns related to "Douglas Campbell"
When it comes to building a defense, it’s tough to ignore Gutey’s track record of recognizing discounted talent.
As someone who wanted Wright over Campbell, I’ve been so pleased being wrong. I get Gilmore has been a great player, but past success doesn’t determine future success in a new system. Douglas is experienced, athletic and a good fit to plug into an outside CB role.
This is the definition of low risk high reward, and I’m bullish that we can scrape together a decent secondary until 23 gets back.
GPG
I just found out about Campbell's view of this passage: that it is not Paul's own view but a Socratic presentation of a view he opposes and which he rebuts in Ch. 2.
Here is a post from /u/koine_lingua from 4 years ago on this, but I wonder if anyone can comment on the strengths and weaknesses of this view or point me to resources on how it has fared in scholarship in the past few years.
Some initial questions that jump out:
What is the meaning of of "dio" in 2:1? Doesn't that seem to imply that Paul is building on, not rejecting what came before?
Who is the "you" "whoever you are" (as NRSV has it) addressed in the beginning of ch. 2 if not Paul's Socratic opponent?

... keep reading on reddit ➡I know that most of the time it is given to a player that overcame an injury. But I feel like he has been such a game changer and has been playing like an elite cornerback that he should be considered for the award.
The man was in four different teams in this season alone. He was circling the drain of being a reject but when he had a chance he took it and has not looked back.
The award will probably go to Dak Prescott, and there is some merit to that. But I just think that Rasul has to be in the conversation.
Let me know if im talking out of my ass
Love yall

New York Giants
Out: GM Dave Gettleman, OC Freddie Kitchens (Interim)
In: GM Dave Ziegler, OC Adam Stenavich
Fans have been unhappy with Gettleman for years, and it seems like ownership is finally catching up. The Maras also seem content with holding on to former Patriots ST Coach Joe Judge as their locker room leader. If that is the case, it makes sense to bring in somebody Judge is already familiar with in Ziegler, the current Patriots' Director of Player Personnel. The 44-year-old is a Patriot through and through. He was college teammates with Nick Caserio (who he replaced following Caserio's move to Houston) and Josh McDaniels (under whom he was a scout in Denver). He has cut his teeth under Belichick, spending the last 9 years in the scouting department in New England. In his first year without the "assistant" being tagged onto his job title, Ziegler added key free agents in Kendrick Bourne, Matt Judon, and Hunter Henry. He also oversaw one of the best draft classes in recent Patriot history with Mac Jones a favorite to win ROTY on top of inspiring play from Christian Barmore and Rhamondre Stevenson.
In addition to Ziegler, Packers' OL Coach Adam Stenavich joins as the new offensive coordinator. A bit of an unknown name, Stenavich is a former NFL player that has really made the most of his coaching opportunities. With Green Bay, he has overseen a revolving door of elite late round picks at OL, from Corey Linsley to David Bakhtiari to Yosh Nijman. In 2021, the Packers have seen countless injury along the line yet still have maintained an elite unit. Prior to Green Bay, Stenavich was on Shanahan's staff in San Francisco, coaching the likes of Joe Staley, Mike McGlinchey, and Weston Richburg. While Stenavich is unproven as a playcaller, he has worked under two of the best young offensive minds in the game. On top of his promising resume, his area of expertise is one the Giants desperately need help with. Other than Andrew Thomas, the Giants' OL has been an endless pile of poop covered garbage.

This is nuts. Mercilus, Z, Bahk, Myers, Jaire, Cobb, Rodgers at 100%. This team is off the charts with their talent right now.
Compare this year's defense to 2010's defense:
Ja$? Lockdown corner like Woodson. Douglas is a ballhawk like Tramon, Stokes is a burner like Shields.
Devondre Campbell is a great, leading ILB like AJ Hawk was.
Collins and Peprah? Quick and Physical? Savage and Amos.
Big Boi Raji? Kenny Clark's just as dominant.
Matthews and Gary? Walden and Preston?
We might not be ranked as high as the 2010 team, but the talent on this team is exceptionally comparable to that team. Dre, Gary, Z, Preston, Mercy, Clark, Ja, Amos, Stokes, Douglas, Stokes, Savage, Lowry and Keke, Barnes and King/Sullivan/Black. This is the type of talent that teams like the Buccaneers, Rams, Patriots, and Bills have on defense and they're all top 10.
Put the league on notice, our piss is white hot and Lambeau is ice cold.
IT'S TIME TO BRING HOME THE LOMBARDI BABY!
The Chargers are entering the 2022 offseason with a wealth of resources: $70 million in cap space and eleven projected draft picks. We also only have thirty-three players under contract. This is lining up to be an extremely active period with a lot of moving parts, and below I have outlined the current situation of each position group on the offensive side of the ball for reference before the stove gets cooking. The defense is going to be much more lively than the offense, with lots of starters and rotational players hitting free agency. Drop your thoughts, predictions, and wishes in the comments!
Edge Rusher
Under Contract: Joey Bosa, Chris Rumph
Free Agents: Uchenna Nwosu, Kyler Fackrell
Outlook: Joey Bosa is under contract through the 2025 season. His contract can be restructured to save $16 million against the cap, which makes it fairly likely I think. Chris Rumph is on his rookie contract and is not eligible for extension. Nwosu has been productive this season across from Bosa, and will probably get a contract extension. He hasn’t quite made the jump that many of us expected/hoped for though and will get paid as a high-end rotational rusher. There were rumors that the Chargers were looking into some upper-tier pass rusher around the trade deadline, so I expect that to be a major target this offseason. Bosa is currently being asked to carry most of the pass rush himself and that’s not sustainable. Fackrell has been a decent part of the rotation and maybe will be kept if the Chargers plan to carry five pass rushers.
Possible Targets: Haason Reddick, Chandler Jones, Harold Landry, Jadeveon Clowney, Emmanuel Ogbah
Interior Defensive Line
Under Contract: Jerry Tillery, Joe Gaziano, Breiden Fehoko
Free Agents: Linval Joseph, Justin Jones, Christian Covington
Outlook: Jerry Tillery is entering the final year of his rookie contract and therefore eligible to have his fifth-year option picked up. It won’t be. Gaziano and Fehoko both have one year left on their contracts, and can be cut with no dead money and $800k saved. They will be competing to stay on the roster in 2022. Linval Joseph has played well this year in the middle and there’s a chance he is re-signed to a one year modest deal to rotate with/mentor a younger NT. Justin Jones has been a lynchpin of the Chargers’ run defense this year and is a top priority to re-sign. He is going to get a solid contract. Covington has played alright as a rotational player but I don’t thi

RULES, ETC.
ITEM | DETAILS |
---|---|
Nominations | In a top-level comment, submit the player's name and a one sentence justification. Example: Bryan Bulaga. Given the tenacity of Chicago’s defensive front, he held his own and protected Rodgers well. As the title implies, Aaron Rodgers is ineligible to win this award, because that just wouldn't be fair. |
Voting | Upvote comments for humor, accuracy, or whatever criteria you desire. Good luck. Have fun!!! |
Accolades | On the second day after the game (Tuesday for a Sunday game), the nomination with the highest score will receive one reddit gold award or equivalent, and the nominated player will receive a customized certificate in the mail (starting in 2020, a custom piece of art will be added to each winning player's certificate). At the end of the regular season, the Redditor whose winning comments have the highest total score will receive a special mod award. |
Ties | Sometimes scores swing around when the page is refreshed, and a score can be first or second based on various refreshes. If that occurs, all tying commenters will be given Reddit Gold and be recorded on the ledger, but only the comment that appears first most often will receive the points and have a certificate sent. |

More than enough to re-sign Davante, Campbell, Douglas, etc if we so choose. We will be fine next year. Not everyone will be back of course but the core of our team can easily be back next year.
