I'm working on a podcast episode about Daisy Douglas Barr, the Quaker minister who became a Women's KKK Empress in the 1920s. I'm examining how Christian rhetorical from a number of different Christian traditions was mobilized to push racism and white supremacy in the early 20th century. I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

| The Eagles short winning streak came to an end screeching halt Sunday as they lost to a struggling Giants team. The Eagles defense held the Giants largely in check most of the day allowing just the Giants to find the endzone just one time and allowing just 13 points in the 13-7 loss. On offense it was a trainwreck, Jalen Hurts continued to look pedestrian in the passing game throwing 3 picks and managing just 129 yards through the air and he didn’t reach 100 yards til late in the 4th quarter. The Giants forced Hurts to beat him with his arm and he failed miserably. Hurts wasn’t the only Jalen playing terribly Sunday, second year WR Jalen Raegor proved two Jalens don't make a right dropping a key pass on 4th down to seal it for the Giants. The Eagles look for redemption traveling back up to MetLife to take on the Jets this week, a team they have never lost to since the two teams started playing. The Jets managed their 3rd win of the season against Houston last week, but Zach Wilson appeared skittish in his return from a knee injury that forced him out of the Jets' past four contests. He threw for 145 yards on 14-of-24 passing and one interception. The rookie signal-caller rarely looked to push the ball downfield, averaging just 4.7 yards of depth per target. A mere 20.8% of Wilson’s attempts traveled past the first-down marker. I expect the Eagles to look to force Wilson to beat them this coming Sunday and stop the run heavy approach that got them their win vs the Texans. The Eagles defense has been playing well recently and should be able to hold the Jets offense in check. The question will be if the Eagles offense can get anything going against the Jets and if they Jets try the same approach of the Giants of forcing Hurts to beat them with his arm, something he has not been able to do this season. Should be an old fashioned low scoring slugfest with both teams trying to establish the run and keep the pressure off their QBs. Go Birds! |

Climate: Owing to Somalia's proximity to the equator, there is not much seasonal variation in its climate. Hot conditions prevail year-round along with periodic monsoon winds and irregular rainfall. Wildlife of Somalia: Somalia contains a variety of mammals due to its geographical and climatic diversity. Wildlife still occurring includes cheetah, lion, reticulated giraffe, baboon, serval, elephant, bushpig, gazelle, ibex, kudu, dik-dik, oribi, Somali wild donkey, reedbuck and Grévy's zebra, elephant shrew, rock hyrax, golden mole and antelope. It also has a large population of the dromedary camel.
