Sticky Bay Leaf: what is this stickyness on the leaves? What can I do about it? I've tried washing the plant leaf by leaf with water (and some mild soap). The orangy/yellowy/brownish things/dots/spots go away rather easily with a wet cotton pad. Are they parasites? Or some kind of excretion? Thanks reddit.com/gallery/nztv8v

Are these spidermites? Quarantined the plant as soon as I noticed green on the cotton I was cleaning it with. A few weeks later I notice these white dots all over the leaves even after several thorough cleanings. Is neem oil necessary? Thanks! See the copper dots? Any idea what these are? This is in my ~1 week old Aqua Dragons tank. I think I overfed them—there was a lot of cotton ball-like stuff in the water :’( I removed the food/gunk at the bottom and oxygenated like crazy. ~15 remain and seem to be OK...but what’s this stuff?
