If Trump wants to put a serious campaign to win in 2024, he is benefitting from not being on social media. We have seen the evidence here that his popularity has grown since he has left office. One reason I believe he is doing well is because he is not on social media.
Let’s face it. Trump is an asshole. His personality is brash and it can turn off a lot of people. Part of this was displayed when he would make crazy tweets. The media and his political opponents quickly used his tweets to attack him and spread misinformation about him, which clearly swayed voters. Part of the reason he lost in 2020 is because people didn’t like his behavior, independent on where he stood on political issues. Many suburban women were turned off by his personality and did not support Trump in 2020.
Without the social media, he has less opportunity to say stupid things, or things that would turn off voters on the fence. This is a huge benefit for Trump because it forces people to focus on the actual issues and not some mean tweets. I believe this is partially why he is seeing an increase in popularity. The other reason being Biden isn’t doing so well himself, which of course would make the prior guy look better as well.
I doubt it would work, but Trump not being on social media has increased his popularity and would increase his chances of winning in 2024 if he stayed off it, or at the very least let a staffer handle his twitter like a staff handles Biden’s social media.
Protesters will clash throughout the country, there will be several false-flag acts of violence. The economy will tank while several states will declare martial law. Leading up to Inauguration Day, the country will slowly settle down. By this point in time, there will have been several instances of violence. The COVID-19 death toll will have surpassed 400,000 by the start of the new year. Donald Trump will have left the country to avoid legal issues, leaving his family to pick up the pieces. Joe Biden will be sworn into office in a secure, private location, forgoing the usual Inauguration Day festivities due to the risk of potential acts of terror.
