A list of puns related to "Don Hastings"
I figure this is a longshot, but want to try anyways!
At Thanksgiving dinner a couple days ago my father was telling me a story about his Uncle Don from Palestine, TX who taught him to sit at the corner of the Thanksgiving table so that as people were passing food the person on the end could pass it by you and you wouldn't have your meal interrupted. He then, in passing, mentioned that his Uncle Don used to make knives and that he remembered sitting with him at a knife show booth somewhere in Texas and indicated he would really love have one of his knives.
I love to surprise my father with some "special" Christmas gifts, so I got on my phone and googled "Don Hastings knife" thinking it was some crazy long shot to even be able to locate a knife, but then discovered that Don Hastings was a very well known bladesmith in his time. My father had no idea how influential his work was in the knife industry / hobby. It led to a great moment of discovery for my father as I read aloud many articles, comments on forums, and industry information that referenced Don.
So I am looking for an original Don Hastings knife for sale to give to my father for Christmas. I have found a couple of examples online (links below) that have sold in the past. Any help on locating one would be greatly appreciated!

I'm going to be a 3L here. I can confirm that this school is absolutely π©-y. Administration is extremely dishonest, disingenuous, and out-of-touch, the systems are completely disorganized, and you will not graduate ready for the bar, because this place stresses you out so much with unnecessary BS, you won't have the capacity to actually digest what you're learning. Overall, the school is predatory.
Feel free to ask me about specifics.

Does this mean I should just give up? What happens if they're wrong and the WL actually moves...? Or is this their nice way of rejecting me.
I've daydreamed about various scenarios like this since I was a kid, and I think it would be very interesting. I saw the new Call of Duty "remastered" trailer and it just seems like everything is about futuristic warfare (not that there's anything wrong with that!)
I think elements of this have been done already in games like Assassins Creed and Army of Two, but I'm not sure if there's been a game that has solely taken this approach. The degree of immersion that today's gaming graphics can provide seems absolutely insane! The idea of being realistically transported to a sprawling colonial landscape in the 1700s with an M-16 and 20,000 rounds of ammunition is appealing enough to me that I would buy an Xbox/PS4/new graphics card. And, especially once developers are able to take full advantage of everything Oculus has to offer, I can't imagine anything more fun than zipping around in a Bradley M3 Fighting Vehicle while blowing up Hannibal's elephants with a couple friends.
