βWhat it did, it reinforced what I was I doing. And that group took it over the hump and finished it. The foundation, what we were building, how I was building it, was good. Running the same offense, same defense, same philosophy, same things we built there for seven years, so it enthused me. I was happy for the players, for the country and the team. It really energized me, that what we were doing was right. I took that with it, more than jealousy.β
βBelieve me, I was just pulling for them, as much as every else. β

>#Jazz center Rudy Gobert seemingly called out his own team after the loss - "When you have a guy that's 7'2 who can catch the ball and finish under the rim, you have to use it. We haven't done it the last two games & we're not doing it right now so I'm hoping we can work on it."

>More from #Jazz center Rudy Gobert - "We have to be able to give variations. The drive is good the past two games, it's a weapon that we have and we don't use."

Maybe you haven't lost your job, house or spouse but know that alcohol is adding nothing to your life so you've decided to quit and don't really want to make a big deal about it irl.
Or maybe you've run the gamut of bad decisions and isolated yourself from friends and family for so long that you have no one to tell that six months ago you woke-up and said No More! That's It! Fuck This Shit! and poured your handle down the kitchen sink.
We Can do it.
And We Are doing it.
Hell Yes We Are!!!
I'm six months sober today and I'm pretty hyped up about it, so please everyone take a moment right now and pat yourself on the back, because you are sober and I'm really proud of you.

Matt Martin of the main Star Wars Story Group (the one in charge of keeping things straight) had no clue Rey's dad was a Palpatine clone. xD xD xD
This is nuts, guys.
Iam 26 and havent done any sport regulary for ~7 Years.
3 weeks ago I saw a documentary about anxiety [which I struggle with. big time]
Someone in this documentary said "Running is a really good exercise, when you struggle with anxiety".
So I started running.
First run was terrible. Was out of breath after like 2 Minutes. Read a lot. Read a lot in this reddit. "is stretching good? what is the best strategy for a beginner? How often should I run?"
After 3 weeks I defiently can say that I can run a little longer. That I get my stamina back a little faster. And that running is really fun.
With every run I try to be a little bit better than the last run.
Iam from germany and we have something called "Sportabzeichen", which is basicly a badge that you can get, when you do several activities in a good enough time. (like running, sprinting, swimming)
I want to be fit enough to, theoretically, be fit enough for the for the 3k distance of the Sportabzeichen.
Right now I run for like 3-4 minutes and than walk for 2-3. Read that this is the best strategy for beginner to get things started.
Like I said: I run for my mental health + to get a little more fit.
But I think Iam doing it wrong.
Today I ran a 5k distance for the first time. Usually I ran like 2-3 kilometer.
But after running 5k I only thought about how easy it actually was to run 5k and that it was not really harder than 2-3k (Still ran for 3-4 minutes. than walked for 2-3)
I dont think that this is good against anxiety.
I think why running is so good against anxiety is the reason that you have to push yourself so much. Run beyond your limits. Thinking "I cant do that" and than just do it.
With all the walking breaks I take away that aspect.
I mean iam completely winded after 4 minutes of running, but I always know that I can take it easy after that.
So I think I need advice. Especially from people that also started running because of anxiety.
Should I abandon this strategy and just try to run as long as possible?
This way I would have to push myself more but also running would be less fun. I think.
or maybe... I should stick to the run-walk-run-walk strategy for a while? But will this help my mental health in any way?
Advice is appreciated. Also this is a great reddit. thx for all the good posts on here. really motivating.
edit: wow. Thanks for all the great comments. Cant reply to everyone, but I appreciate every comment and read all of them. A lot of helpful advice. Than
... keep reading on reddit β‘went to my local new seasons this morning to find they're limiting the number of customers in the store with a staging area on the walkway outside with taped lines on the sidewalk to indicate safe distance. They are only letting in a customer when a customer leaves. they're sanitizing all the carts before they go into the store. they're sanitizing the checkout stations between customers and also have a staging area inside so the line stays spaced appropriately and only allow 1 person at the checkout at a time. there's signs inside to remind to keep distance and there's staff controlling the lines. it was a relief for me (compromised immune system/underlying health issues) and made for a much better shopping experience considering the circumstances. the lines moved relatively fast and I didn't have to wait but maybe ten minutes outside. They're doing this at all the new seasons.
