Matched on a dating app a couple weeks ago. She was funny and conversation was good. I knew she had 2 dogs (because of all the pictures she continued to send me) but she's military and has no family near because of the constant moving so I just kinda ignored it.
She asked me out for Valentine's day and I suggested she come out by me (1 hour drive) and we could go hiking and out to dinner and just hang around. Her exact words were "That sounds awesome I'll bring my dog!" Who just invites their dog on a first date!? But I didn't wanna sound like a jerk so I asked if he was friendly and she said something like "he's really overprotective and jealous so he always pushes girls away BUT he's soOoOo nice!!" She also said because of the protective thing he'll bark at me. How are we supposed to talk with him barking the whole time?? At that point I was like idk and then she said "he's my whole world" at that point I was done. I'm not coming in second to your dog. I'm not gonna sit on a different couch cause your dog always has to be in the middle.
Kinda sad I'm alone for Valentine's day now but omg I couldn't do it. I hate dog people on dating apps
Edit: Thank you for all the kind words. I've felt like shit all day wondering if I was overreacting or if I should have just worked it out. I've never stood up for myself like this before. Pretty much everyone on the dating apps has a dog so I just deal with it. But after 2 long term relationships where they both had dogs I'm just tired of it. I'm tired of having the dog put before me. And honestly with how much she talks about the dogs it should have been a red flag. Dating is just hard in a dog world

If you take the route of not getting dog meat in fallout 4 and choose the progress the story enough to where you have to track down Kellogg, Nick says he has a friend who can help and it’s none other than dog meat. But how does he know him like he’s know some old friend? Not only that but he knows for a fact the dogs name is dog meat because if you get dog meat and never learn his name from mama Murphy, Nick confirms that the dogs name is indeed dog meat changing the dogs name to dog meat in the process. I get that there have to be work arounds for players that didn’t choose or missed getting dog meat at the beginning of the game but i feel it could’ve been solved easier if in detective fashion, you went out in search of dog meat instead of just “oh yeah I know someone” and they just randomly appear from the red rocket in one of the most northern part of the commonwealth
Good evening. My girlfriend's dog of 14 years unfortunately passed away a few days ago. Naturally she is very sad as she has had that dog for nearly half her life. Due to personal reasons, she was unable to be with her in her final moments which has made her even sadder. I really wanted to get something to commemorate her dog, Marley, more than just some photos in a frame. I thought a beautiful canvas painting of her dog would be something she would love for Valentine's day. I'm here looking to see if anyone is able and willing to take this job, and have it to me by feburary 14th. I'm thinking something like an 10x10 or a little bigger, whatever would be the nicest looking. Budget is open to anything as long as shipping and any other misc charges are included.
