A list of puns related to "Disney Princess Drinking"
Title basically says it all. My personal thoughts is, for fear of criticism, they won't for a while, maybe late 2030s or 40s. But I'm curious on you girls' thoughts! Would they do such a ballsy move?
We just watched Encanto for the 15th time this week (at my request too! I can't get enough)
I'm sure some people have their issues with these movies BUT let me just say that as a mother if two young girls - I am thrilled that they are being brought up with the likes of Mirabel, Moana, Raya, Merida, even Anna and Elsa! I get a kick out of my 3yo pretending to be Raya or Louisa and kicking butt instead of waiting to be rescued.
While we still enjoy the classics (I'm a millennial what can I say) I'm so over the damsel in distress clichΓ©! I'm happy with the shift that has been happening over the last decade, and can't wait to see even more diverse Disney movies in the future.
Since I noticed that thereβs been a bit of discussion about how Disney treats it black characters, and not making them human for a whole movie, I wanted to make this post and find out what the ideal black Disney princess from your perspectives.
For me, the ideal black Disney princess would be someone who has long glowing curly hair, a major bookworm, sort of geeky, total cottage core aesthetic in her actions and fashion. I do have an interesting take for the romance part though. Instead of falling for the prince her parents arranged for her, she falls in love with the knight thatβs been her personal guard and actually likes spending time with her and engaging in her interests.
Anyway, thatβs my ideal Disney princess, whatβs yours?
This tweet tho - https://twitter.com/hyeaIous/status/1481346412239597578?t=FDQ8Ue9vMA4kTT97M3DaCw&s=19
100k likes?? Damn that too for a fan made tweet..... Bahiyyih was always pretty but the blonde was such a power move.... Ever since her debut with blonde hair shes been going viral a lot in social media like tik tok, twitter etc nd this is one of those instances.... For me, she joins the "blonde hair with idol is match made in heaven" list - Taeyeon, Hyuna, Hani, Lisa, Somi nd now hiyyih. It just feels like that hair colour is made for them. Anyway, this was a thought that was always in my mind but made me want to make a post after seeing this tweet nd the response below...
Mention ur favorite idols with blonde hair in the comments.....
Like we always argue about the strongest so why not the other way around? Who would be the weakest Disney Princess in terms of strength, speed and fighting ability overall?
Feel free to include any lesser known princesses like Eilonwy from βThe Black Cauldronβ or Kida from βAtlantisβ.
I'm not sure if anyone cares, but I just want to gush about how much I love the Frozen franchise. The original movie was so important for me. I saw so much of myself in Elsa, and I still do. We both have a difference that others stigmatize. We both feel the need to hide our feelings because it can be too much for others to handle. We both at one point struggled with seeing how amazing we are. We both feel like we don't belong sometimes. My divorced parents are so different that it feels like they're from two different worlds, so I related a lot to Elsa's parents being from different cultures and her being more comfortable with her mom's people. I feel like my mom allows me to be more of who I am instead of how my dad and stepmom try to shape me into what they think is the socially acceptable version of me. I also see a lot of my little sister in Anna, even if she doesn't anymore. To finish it off, the song "Show Yourself," speaks a lot to who I am. I especially like the line, "I've always been so different, normal rules did not apply. Is this the day, are you the way, I finally find out why?" I always feel like I'm still searching to find out why I'm the way I am, and what I can become. Beyond that, the line perfectly describes what it feels like to me to be different.
You have these moments where you remember things. Iβm planning my wedding now, and Iβve already been accused of being a bridezilla by my nMom for numerous BS reasons (see my post history for details). When I was in high school I was accused for being a βpromzillaβ because I didnβt want a strapless dress with my D cup boobs hanging out.
My parents took us to Disney when I was 7. I clearly remember seeing other girls dressed up like princesses. I wanted one but I was too shy to ask. When I pointed it out my mother began to mock them and told me that only βspoiled bratty girls like {insert my childhood bullyβs name}β would want to dress up like a princess.
I think I just nodded along with my mom and didnβt ask for a dress. I didnβt want her to judge me. I held my desire to be a princess in me for all these years. I donβt want to let her ruin it again.
And when I have a daughter⦠if she wants the princess dress when we go to Disney, she can have whatever one she wants.
I don't know why it's so weird to me but... WTF?!?
I mean look, I agree that she isn't a princess anymore in frozen 2 but before that? In wreck it Ralph she is part of the Disney princess party if I remember correctly. So what is going on?
