• I use the flat rate boxes (sets and minifigs), or a small padded envelope(10 or so minifigs) so the costs will be either $5, $8.50, $15.50, and $21.50
• Depending on how much you get will determine how many envelopes or boxes I use

SIR BAUDELAIRE - This is a super nice intro to the album. It gives you a taste of the record’s sound, introduces the (comically misunderstood) presence of DJ Drama, and ends with the CMIYGL jingle. Some solid bars as well, and a smooth mid-fi beat that kinda reminds me of the song LONE, one of my favorites from Wolf.

CORSO - One of my personal favorites from the album. The highlight of the song for me is that ominous synth used prominently near the end, it reminds me of ones used on earlier album but still sounds fresh. Love the aggression as well, and how it’s communicated even without a huge, blown-out beat (cough JUGGERNAUT cough).

LEMONHEAD - Probably one of my least favorite songs from the album, and I don’t even hate it. The horn is what drags it down for me… just feels like a bit of a cop out. Really nice feature from 42 Dugg though; I honestly wasn’t sure about him when I saw the feature list, but his processed vocals prove to be an excellent juxtaposition to Tyler’s deep, raw voice. Like I said, I definitely don’t mind this song at all.. Nice to hear Frank’s voice as well!

WUSYANAME - Fuck. Yes. This song is pure bliss. It sounds like the best soul-inspired songs from Cherry Bomb but done a million times better (this is coming from a huge CB fan). Fantastic feature from YoungBoy, love the way his autotuned verse rides the soulful beat; also some great vocals from Ty! This is definitely one of my favorites from the album.

LUMBERJACK - This was definitely an interesting choice for lead single, but I respect what a ballsy move it was. I love how fucking DIRTY this song sounds… it’s so dusty and grimy, it adds a ton of texture to this section of the album. Also one of my favorite DJ Drama appearances on the album, he’s peak-hypeman. Plus, we get to hear Domo, Taco, and L-Boy!

HOT WIND BLOWS - Can we PLEASE talk about how funny DJ Drama’s opening lines are? “We all got our toes out” kills me every time. Anywho, this is a killer song. The flute (sample?) is so luxurious, plus the subtle repetitive piano chords in the background remind me a bit of yacht rock? Damn, that Weezy verse tho… it just gets better and better. The flow switch totally blindsided me, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite moments on the album. Also, this is a small detail but I love how right after Lil Wayne says “hoe”, the vocal sample is manipulated to sound like it’s saying the same thing. Cool stuff.

MASSA - This song gives me CHILLS. The boom-bap beat, the lazy

If you feel it's appropriate to share NSFW jokes with your kids, that's on you. But a real, true dad joke should work for anyone's kid.

Mods... If you exist... Please, stop this madness. Rule #6 should simply not allow NSFW or (wtf) NSFL tags. Also, remember that MINORS browse this subreddit too? Why put that in rule #6, then allow NSFW???

Please consider changing rule #6. I love this sub, but the recent influx of NSFW tagged posts that get all the upvotes, just seem wrong when there are good solid DAD jokes being overlooked because of them.

I am currently in the hospital. I had a back operation yesterday. The surgical nurse came in my room and started asking questions about my back. She asked me if I had any falls during the last year. I responded just one. It was after summer.

She laughed and said in 20 years of doing this she never was told that joke.

This happened a few years ago when my son was 6ish. When my kids hurt themselves and it doesn’t look serious I always do the “we might have to amputate that bruised hand” shtick with them. I’ve done it enough that they now roll their eyes.

So, my son got hit lightly in the face with a rubber ball. It wasn’t a hard hit and I could tell he was more upset by the shock of it rather than the pain. So I say “looks like we will have to amputate your nose.” To which he replies “then how will I smell?” And I say “terrible!”

It was my greatest dad joke ever. I felt like I could retire after that.

Keep in mind, my son is 4 years old, so everything is an original to him.

I had to work late into the evening yesterday, and he was just going to bed when I got home. I had left home for the office nearly 14 hours prior, had a long day, lots of meetings, traffic, etc.

When I walked through the door, I was exhausted, run down, and starving. My wife hugged me and asked how my day was, and I replied, "Done. It was a good day, but has got me exhausted. I just want to grab a bite and go to bed. I'm hungry."

From my son's bedroom, I hear him shout, "Hi Hungry! Nice to meet you!"

Not only did it make me laugh, but I completely forgot about how hungry and tired I was. I went to his bedroom, and we laughed together about it. It was exactly what I needed.

Edit: Thanks for all the awards, kind strangers! I'll let my son know y'all enjoyed his joke too!

“Ugh.”

Kate locked the door to her apartment behind her, tossing her barista uniform cap onto the floor before lumbering off to her bedroom. Lumbering inside, she stopped at the edge of her mattress, falling into it before settling somewhere around the center of the bed. Staring up at the ceiling, she sighed, pulling out her phone to browse the web after a long day of work.

Being a Barista wasn’t physically taxing, and even if it was, her countless nights as a caped crusader would surely put that kind of work to shame. Rather, it was the mental aspect of the job. Most customers were nice, but some possessed a maturity level akin to toddlers, which made dealing with them a bit of a monolithic task for Kate. Sometimes, it even made her miss dodging bullets as Batwoman.

But she’s put the cowl away, for now, left it in its case while she makes herself comfortable in her new home. There was already someone watching out for the people of Hub City, and that gave Kate the freedom to not risk her life every night. Between helping Bruno and her old friends at the homeless shelter to working a down to earth, though exhausting job as a Barista, Kate felt that she’d finally gotten into a satisfying groove. She’d carved out this perfect little life for herself, and nothing was going to break it all down.

Still, there was no way it would be complete without-

Ring

Kate’s phone buzzed, prompting her to check her text messages. Maggie had sent her a text.

Hey, we’re still on at six, right?

Kate’s eyes widened, “Oh shit!”

Jumping out of bed, Kate quickly tapped out a message to Maggie, stating that she’d be ready on time, even though six was only fifteen minutes away. Scrambling into the bathroom, she threw off her barista uniform, taking a quick shower before scrambling to find a set of casual clothes that weren’t dirty. She still needed to make a run to the laundry place down the street, so finding a clean shirt and pair of pants was a little more difficult than usual, but eventually, she managed to scrape the right articles together.
