My local Dolby Cinema has had those annoying blue lights since day one as they recently built it. They don’t dim them at all for the movie. I have already submitted a complaint for mine but I’m hoping others can complain for their local theaters and we might be able to get some results. Good luck!
I have a hlg qb 288 in a 2.6’x2.6’x5.3’ tent with two plants. I’ve been told to dim it but I want them to get as much light as possible. Why dim over raising the lights?

Surely even with Vizio's inferior processing that amount of advantage must result in better blacks and contrast over the Sony ? Why is this not the case ?
I mean I know motorways are big, bad and scary for a lot of Irish drivers but FFS the same rules apply to dimming when there’s a car coming towards you.....even when it’s on the other side of the big road you don’t seem to know how to use properly....
I could write a book about all of the events leading up to tonight, but I will try to keep it short. 2019 has not been the year for my children or I. I have been diagnosed with multiple mental illnesses, including CPTSD and BPD. I've been in horrible, abusive relationships since age 14, I am now 32 and just barely (not really though) beginning to figure out my life. I have 4 beautiful blessings that were my saving grace as I wandered through those dark times. We currently live with my alcoholic, narcissistic mother because I cannot afford to live on my own with 4 little ones.
Tomorrow morning, I have to wake up and wear the mask of happiness, for my first born sake... it's her special day. I should be ecstatic. I'm not. I'm a mess. Anxiety ridden, obsessive thoughts, nausea. I have no money, no gifts, no anything to give her. I'm making her a homemade card, I found some old string and beads to make her some wish bracelets. And that's all I have. I wanted to make her a special breakfast early in the morning. I go to look and see what we have, 2 eggs, tv dinners, sandwich meat and bread. I cannot contain my emotions.
Of course I am happy to have my healthy, beautiful baby girl, I am so lucky to have her.... but I dont feel like she is lucky to have been put in this life with me. I try to keep pushing forward with the hopes that it will get better. That we will have a happy life one day... but tonight I think, we've been waiting a long time. My children deserve a happy mother, and happy life, fun, laughter.
I literally have nothing. I have no idea where to start and I feel very defeated. I love my children so much but in others eyes I feel like I am not ever doing enough. It's a terrible cycle. Please pray for us. Please pray for my daughter to have a great day tomorrow. I live to see them smile.

I recently started waiting the kinda funny Gamecast because I ran out of podcasts to listen to and I figured I'd give them a try as I listen to every other RT podcast except always open. I normally listen to podcast when I am grinding in Video game and have it on another monitor. Most podcast sets are pretty static. With off Topic, Dude soup and the RT podcast they are switching camera but with the gamecasts it's complete static. Yes, the host are moving a bit but literally not enough to make my TV think literally nothing is happening. I mean I don't think anyone on the show will see this but it's just my two sense. It's kinda annoying I don't want to get burn in on my TV watching a podcast. Maybe changing the backgrounds to more contrasting images. I know they sometimes have video games images back there be we all know most video games use they same 6 colors. ANy ways, This may sound negative but I am enjoying the podcast for the most part. I don't mean to be a downer.
