I’ve been watching professional league since nigh it’s inception, and worlds has always been dope. In the beginning there was only a few regions competing which made it easy to track which teams were from where. (I was also younger which meant more free time.)

As the years have gone on, more and more teams from varying regions have been invited to compete. That’s fantastic! I’m so glad that this game is reaching more places. However, with adulthood grabbing me by the balls, I don’t nearly have enough time to research and watch all the teams that are competing, hell, I barely have time to watch my own region.(NAWILDCARD) Which leads to me to have constantly look up where every team that I don’t immediately recognize is from.

Does anyone else think a nice QOL update to worlds would be to place the teams region underneath the team name?

So ive ben trying to detect what team a player is on without there name i have 2 teams blue and red team and ive already done a death detection system by making a scoreboard.

(/scoreboard objective add deaths DeathCounter)

And then with a repeating command block with the command.

(give @ a minecraft:oak_log [scores={deaths=1..}] )

And a chain command block with it.

(scoreboard players reset @ a[scores={deaths=1..}] deaths )

But i dont know how to detect what team a player is on with this info i assume that i have to place a teams add point command with a scoreboard but i cant find info on it most videos are outdated from 2015 on this topic and same with google search stuff from 2015-2016 and the only new things i can find are bedrock edition command block info that's nothing like java ive ben at this for 3 to 4 days and nothing comes to mind.

Ive also ben wanting a win/lose for the teams i can figure this out after doing the team detection of the players but otherwise im stumped.

the command block dose detect it as correct format it just dose nothing.

I saw a clip of it on Youtube a while ago and could've sworn I saved it but I can't find it. Anyway, in this clip, the mob is having a shootout with a very cartoonish looking cop when an angry female detective with glasses and dark black hair stomps right into the line of fire. The scene slows down as she grabs a gun that's tossed in her direction and she opens fire on the mob. Then I think she...pulls out a shotgun and continues firing before kicking everyone and tearing her skirt a bit? I think she screams out a line like "What the hell are you doing in a police station?!" or something like that.

Hi, everyone!

I'm looking for names that scream "I'm a super cool detective in a black-and-white noir movie" but I'm having a lot of trouble finding female names that fit that description. I don't want them to be diminutive/cutesy in this case, even though I love names like Evie normally, but I also don't want them to be female versions of male names, like Josephine. Character will probably be trans, so if it sounds like or has been used as a man's name, it unfortunately won't work here.

The best I've been able to come up with so far: Cora, Irene, Diana, Vera, and Cleo

Any other suggestions are extremely welcome! Thinking of using the last name Lovelace to go with it.

Like the English Dub we had changes of names.

Shinichi Kudo = Bobby Jackson (yes, that's no joke)

Ran Mouri = Claudia Guzman

Kogoro Mouri = Carlos guzman

Ayumi = jessica

Mitsuhiko = jorgito

Genta = Beto

Inspector Megure = Inspecto Vera

Takagi = Torres

And My absolute favorites.

Heiji and Sonoko, i explain.

In the first 123 episodes, just one person do the translate, and with heiji and sonoko, she made a few mistakes.

Heiji = Alfredo, Hector, Alex, marcos, Nano.

Sonoko = Sara, Alicia, Anabela

At least in the next dub they stay with the original names XD

The title has most of the details, I remember seeing this years ago (late 90s or early 00s).

A young guy takes a job as the night guard at a hospital. A string of murders takes place and serial killer, later revealed to be a detective with the police, frames the young guard. I do remember one scene where he's revealed he takes his victim's hand and spells out the guy's name in blood.

It's particularly notable that at the end, the serial killer is about to murder the main character and his girlfriend in the morgue. He's stopped when another person in the hospital who was handcuffed to a pipe cuts off his thumb (off-camera) to get his hand free and save the day. I feel like it may have been John C. Reilly or someone similar?

The name was something along the lines of Night Shift, Late Shift, Night Watch... but I'm getting too many false positives. Anyone have any ideas? My wife is a healthcare worker and has a week of overnights coming up so I think this movie would be perfect in the Halloween rotation if it can be found.
