A list of puns related to "Deportivo De La Coruña B"
Deportivo Fabril (Deportivo B) play in Segunda División B. Segunda B is the third level of the Spanish football system and is divided into 4 groups of 20 teams each.
Deportivo Fabril play in Group 1 and they are currently second. With only one match left they can finish the season 1st, 2nd or 3rd. There are four promotion spots in Segunda B, so they have effectively qualified to the playoff.
Albert Gil, head of Deportivo's youth academy, said Fabril will play in the playoff even when they'll not be able to make it to the second division after the first team's relegation next season:
>"The players and the coaching staff have earned the opportunity to play the playoff and those kind of opportunities in life are there to be enjoyed. For the academy teams, the chance to play a playoff is almost unique in life. It also helps the players to keep growing and to closer to the first team, and you have to take advantage of those opportunities."
As the table stands, if Deportivo were to decide not to play, the team that would take that playoff spot is... Celta B.
I used knaps narrow 4132 formation and got great results with my small squad and €15 million budget with great results, it was a close call as i sealed the title on the 2nd last matchday

Yes, I am one of the few who has had the chance to see their team live during COVID-19. Why, you may ask, why does this guy go to watch this team but Madrid, Barcelona, or even Celta (same spanish region as depor) can’t go to the stadium? Well this is because Deportivo has been so shit over the last years it doesn’t even play professional football, we are in the 3rd división (2ºB). The non professional sporting events are managed by the regional government, instead of the central one (I believe thats the reason, correct me if wrong).
The experience was quite weird, seeing the stadium only to 15% of its capacity was sad and you have few moments of almost complete silence (not having ultras makes that happen I guess).
The protocol was quite simple, before entering you had to wash your hands with hydroalcoholic gel and get your temperature checked.
One guy part of the Twitter Depor comunnity asked the dude taking his temperature “What does it say?” to what he replied “No fucking idea mate, it’s in Fahrenheit” so I guess the safety meassures can still be developed.
Once inside, we couldn’t move from our seat unless we were going to the bathroom, and no drinking/smoking/eating allowed inside (no idea why we wouldnt be allowed to drink). We had 5 seats to each side and at least 2 diagonally, and the exit from the stadium was done by phases to prevent everyone clashing outside.
Other than that, nothing special, it was nice going back to watch live football, moreover when you win with a 97 minute header. Man, being a Depor fan is rough nowadays, not gonna lie.
Here are some pics of what the stadium looked like.

“I wont leave you,
we went down,
your stand is still standing,
they will see us coming back“

Quick background, today was the final day of matches in Spain's 2nd Division. Before the matches, Fuenlabrada reported 12 positive cases of coronavirus in their team. The league decided to postpone the Fuenla-Deportivo match, but hold the rest. Due to other results in the league, Deportivo finished the day mathematically relegated, even with a match in hand.
Deportivo's president is now claiming that it was a "complete adulteration of the competition" to not play the matches simultaneously, as is customary on the last two matchdays. He says "The final day must be replayed. There is no other way." Nevermind the fact that his team's match turned out to be inconsequential.
Deportivo is also challenging Extremadura's lineup from their previous match (a 2-3 loss), based on a rule that 7 first-team players must be in the lineup at all times. Deportivo claim that when one of the Extremadura players sought medical attention on the sidelines for two minutes, there were only six first-team players playing, and the match should be awarded to Deportivo. This was obviously shot down by the league, as was their appeal, but they are going through another appeal elsewhere now.
Spoke to a source earlier, Guillermo Cantu finalized Rolan’s stay in Juarez. I think he should be presented next week

Match events:
First half
1' GOAL Deportivo. A clumsy attack ends in the box with Ilie, who just passes it to a Deportivo player who places it in the topcorner. Nothing Masip could do: 0-1.
HT: Barcelona B dominating the match in possession, but Depor were equal in terms of the quality in the chances. A free kick by Denis Suarez and a near tap in for Nieto after a dribble by Denis the biggest chances for the B-team.
There are 5580 spectators at the Mini Estadi.
Half time sub: Pol Calvet on for Espinosa.
Second half
65: Adama on for Edu Bedia
74: Joan Román in for Lucas Gafarot
FT: Match ends 0-1. In the end Barcelona dominated the match in both possession and chances, one mistake in defence very early in the match cost them 3 points.
