Tony Blair's Labour only won because he cut a deal with Rupert Murdoch. I've never seen any discussion on what that deal was, I suspect something that strengthed the position of his media arm.
Corbyn was a genuine threat of a grass roots movement taking hold and that was why he was villified more than any party leader in history. We see now how effective that was, he was literally 'the bogey man' and although most people didn't want to vote for Boris, they had no choice as efforts were focused on #nevercorbyn rather than actual policy.
Our elections are a scam and I'm so confused why everyone acts so surprised when the results were in before the 1st vote was cast.
