A list of puns related to "Delhi Metropolitan Council"
My two paises worth of opinion on the recent affairs in BLR/HYD and how relaxed it has been in Delhi NCR (Gurgaon and Delhi) at the same time :
It was never dry at all in Delhi and Gurgaon during my stay there from Aug'21 to Nov'21. Me and my buddies had 3 variants of ganja and 2 variants of hash and acid on us almost always. This was due to many sources available to us.
My ganja dealer was from Saket and he used to deliver all around NCR throughout the day. Once while speaking to him on the phone, he had mentioned how one of his errand boys got caught by cops with delivery meant ganja on his bike but the dealer was pretty chilled out while narrating this and said that he was going to get his guy out with a bribe of a lakh rupees.
I have been high outdoors a lot, smoked up in remote streets/parking lots etc. Most often the only way you get in trouble with the cops is if you are caught smoking up in public and most often, bribery gets you off the hook.
I feel that policing in general is relaxed in Delhi. The reason can be that the police in other states are literally the state themselves. In Delhi, the police are under the Govt of India and the State of Delhi does not have its own law enforcement.
With that said, ganja does tend to be more expensive in Delhi and there may be many other cons but definitely not one of dry spells/policing.
Note : I do not have any experience/information about Chennai.

^(P.S. I needed an even number of options to make this work - so welcome to our friends in Mitchell Shire! (given they have been tacked on to metro Melb at various stages throughout the pandemic)
By 2030, Delhi's metropolitan population will be 38 million, more than any other city in the world, as Delhi becomes more and more unsustainable, along with speeding up metro and purchase of electric buses, govt. needs to create another metropolitan city in the north where ample of opportunities are created so that not everyone rushes to Delhi. What are your thoughts?
