So.. its halloween right and I wanted to really set the mood and do something I'd remember so I get my group of mates and decided we go to Epping forest, which if you dont know Is one of the most haunted places in the uk.
We was hiking and ended up having no signal the deeper we went inside and... we're lost, by this time my friends are giving me the death glare which I was like I can fix this. There was this old lady walking so couple of my friends and I go follow her to ask her where the fuck is the road.
She didn't talk at all or look at us and kept walking, she was wearing pajamas and her feet were almost hovering. So we followed her because she was the only person we found and had no option... and we fell into a quicksand, which my guess would be like 2 metres deep, we fall and we look and the lady is gone. My friends and I are screaming but we remember to stay calm and one got out and pulled us all out.
There was random weird stick dolls on trees that looked like witchcraft shit, it was midnight (we was walking for hours) and then eventually we kept walking to find a cabin with a biker gang, they were the nicest people ever and dropped us to the closest road and told us not be so deep in the woods and told us it's haunted.
That was that. Never again.
Latest news on his disappearance. Incredibly sad news and I'm sure we will show our respects if there is a vigil or memorial. I didn't know him but I couldn't help but be moved by his mother talk of her love for him.
