He's not too recognizable of an actor for it to be distracting except maybe for his voice. He was great in GTA 5 as Trevor where he proved that he can play a psycopath really well. He was also great in The Walking Dead and Better Call Saul. I just think that he would pull off the creepiness of David perfectly, plus he kinda looks like David too.

David Edward Williams & Steven Eugene Anderson were last seen on Monday, April 7, 1975 at the New Lisbon State School for Retarded Males off Highway 72 in New Lisbon, New Jersey. They both had developmental disabilities and were unable to care for themselves. David had epilepsy that needed to be treated with daily medication and Steven had trouble communicating. The school they attended was home to more than a thousand developmentally disabled residents.
Around 4PM, the boys were outside Vine Cottage, where they were roommates. David was wearing a blue jacket, striped pants, and a leather helmet used to protect his head during epileptic episodes. Steven was wearing a blue hooded jacket and blue pants. They wandered off into the nearly 1800 acres of woods surrounding the campus after playing at a nearby ball field with some staff members.
Staff extensively searched the campus grounds after realizing the boys were missing. Staff and with the help of hundreds of volunteers, helicopters and bloodhounds searched for about a week. No evidence was found of the boy's whereabouts and they were listed as missing persons with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).
Jessica Weisman, a special agent with the FBI, stated, "It's very unusual for two teenage boys to go missing at the same time, even more so that both had developmental disabilities."
Interestingly, Steven and David are not the only New Lisbon State School residents who vanished; Kenneth Schweighart disappeared from there in 1982, though it has been proven that the disappearances are not related.
The New Lisbon State School is now coed and known as the New Lisbon Developmental Center. The investigation of David Edward Williams & Steven Eugene Anderson remains ongoing and authorities are following any leads they may receive. The boy's cases remains one of the oldest that the NCMEC has.
