A list of puns related to "David Steinberg"
THIS SAT 8/14 @ 11 AM PT/2 PM ET join our free live stream Meet the Showrunner/Screenwriter Q&A w/David H. Steinberg (NO GOOD NICK, THE SIMPSONS, AMERICAN PIE 2)
David's IMDb: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0825738/
Hey everyone! My name is Stephen Ellis. Iβm joined by my friend David Steinberg (/u/StoneMountain64), who is the co-founder of our new company, Pipeline.gg
I was formerly one of the top League of Legends players in the world, captaining my team to 3rd place in the world championships and competing in over 40 countries. In the past few years, I was working at Facebook to lead their entry into building a live-streaming platform for gaming creators.
David, formerly in finance, was working a full-time 7-5 job while uploading gaming content to YouTube. He has since quit that job and transitioned to a streaming career on Facebook with over 3.5M followers across those platforms. Seen as a role model within the content creation community, heβs been eager to find a way to help content creators at scale.
Weβve been heads-down building Pipeline.gg for the past six months, curating over a decade of knowledge to provide a roadmap for streamers to follow. Weβre committed to bringing streamers together in one place to help them through the rollercoaster that is building a part-time or full-time career in streaming.
We wanted to run this AMA to talk about what weβve learned in building a career in gaming, answering any questions you might have about our journey, our own careers, what we had for breakfast, or anything else that comes to your mind that we can answer!
Excited to dive in with you for the next few hours! β€
Hi, Iβm David H. Steinberg (I actually go by Dave but the WGA makes me use the βHβ so you donβt confuse me with the other nineteen David Steinbergβs. Believe me, I get calls all the time confirming my lunch at the Ivy with Billy Crystal. I swear Iβm going to show up one day.). I wrote or co-wrote American Pie 2, Slackers, American Pie: Book of Love, National Lampoonβs Barely Legal, and Puss in Boots. I know Iβm not an A-list screenwriter and I know some of these movies suck. You donβt have to remind me. But film is a collaborative medium. I almost always get rewritten, directors put their stamp on it, actors improvise, and editors move things around. Sometimes thatβs awesome, sometimes not so much. Sometimes, I just wrote a bad script. But I work hard at improving my craft and Iβve made a living doing this for thirteen years. I love what I do and it sure as hell beats my former career as a lawyer.
I also write for television, but none of my five TV pilots have ever gotten made. Still, I know a lot about how that process works, too.
I just directed my first feature film, an indie romantic comedy Miss Dial, and thatβs coming out on VOD at the end of the year.
And finally, I just published my first novel, Last Stop This Town. Itβs a coming-of-age comedy similar in tone to the American Pie films (raunchy but sweet, with a lot of heart) and I self-published it. Itβs been getting good reviews, so feel free to ask me about that as well.

Hi Reddit, I'm David Steinberg, comedian, writer and director. My Showtime series, Inside Comedy, and a documentary about my life, Quality Balls, premiere this Monday night beginning at 9:30pm.
A little bit about me: I've directed shows from Seinfeld to Mad About You to Curb Your Enthusiasm, and everything in between. Last year, Larry David and I took to the stage and did a two-man show at New York's historic Town Hall. I also hold the record for the second most appearances on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. On my Showtime series, I've interviewed some of the biggest comedy names in the business.... Some others joining me this season include Jonah Hill, Bette Midler, Eric Idle, Key and Peele, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Gilbert Gottfried, just to name a few.
I'm here to answer your questions. You can ask me anything about anything.
UPDATE: Iβve had a great time answering your questions, but I must head off for my appearance on Jimmy Fallon tonight. Hereβs a preview of Quality Balls and the season premiere of Inside Comedy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HRw_K2SiB7I&feature=youtu.be
Hey folks, my name is Darcy Michael. Most of you probably don't know who the fuck I am, but I'm trying to change that. All of the things in the headline are true about me. I'm also told I should talk to you, "The Internet" and see if anyone cares. To be honest this thing is scary as shit to me and I'm pretty much just sitting here crying, certain nobody will show up to my birthday party (again.). So go ahead, ask me any questions you want about the interviews, the talk show, the stand up special, stand up comedy in general, my personal life, my career, my weight loss (I lost over a hundred pounds in a year... go look it up on youtube I used to be a big fat grizzly bear with a biker beard) or my two projects. Or ignore the fuck out of me and I can go back to my usual wednesday activity of getting baked and staring at my cat. Err.... I mean raising my daughter. OK, poised and ready. Will give you fuckers all day if you care.

At the top of the show, Adam rants about emails that change topic in the middle of the chain, and his lifestyle of having to have the same back and forths over and over again. He also complains about the Point Break screening debacle, and then gets in a better mood when Matt Atchity hosts a banking-themed round of the Rotten Tomatoes Game. Later, Adam chats with this weekβs Lord of the Jungle winner. Before the break, Adam tells a story about catching his staff members discussing puppies instead of working.
David Steinberg is in studio next, and Adam asks him about interviewing incredible A-list talent for his podcast. They also talk about needing to harness the wisecracking gene, and where David got his comedic inspirations growing up. Other topics of conversation include breaking into the standup comedy scene, his many appearances on Johnny Carson, and how David maintains his fitness as he gets older. In the last part of the podcast, the guys talk about surprising moments in Davidβs interviews, and his experiences in the writerβs room for Curb Your Enthusiasm.
