A list of puns related to "David Nevins"
Paramount Plus Content Chief David Nevins has emphasized again that CBS absolutely wants to produce more content for the Star Trek franchise in the upcoming years. In an interview with Deadline he said that they would like to copy the Nickelodeon strategy - Franchise First!
This interview seems to indicate that Alex Kurtzman and Secret Hideout will have the job to produce a lot of Star Trek Content for Paramount Plus in the next five years.
Nevins also mentioned the new episodic Trek show Strange New Worlds which might arrive earlier in 2022 than originally expected.
Quotes:
>“You’re going to see quite a lot of stuff rolling out over the next three or four months. We’re finally coming out of our Covid hangover, and you’re seeing the first of the Taylor Sheridan stuff, you’re seeing expansion of Star Trek and adult animation.

>I’d point to a few different things that I think will wind up distinguishing Paramount+ over time. Definitely franchise first. We’re building out the Star Trek franchise, we’re building on the strength of franchises that we own. You’ve seen what the Nickelodeon strategy has been, very much about franchises. We are trying to build off what Taylor Sheridan has done; Grease is going to be an important show in the new year; Fatal Attraction is going to be an important show in the new year; and The Offer, which touches the history of Paramount and The Godfather, one of the great franchises in Paramount history, you’ll see that.”

>I’ve been involved with Star Trek now for the last couple of years because I was overseeing CBS Studios for a while. So, I’ve been pretty deeply involved with David Stapf and Alex Kurtzman in it. You’ve seen this expand into animation with Lower Decks, and then computer-generated animation with Prodigy, and then Strange New Worlds will be on the air next spring. Strange New Worlds is a return to Star Trek as adventure film, just sort of space exploration; it has a lot of the values in the original Star Trek, and I think that’s going to be really fun. Each new Star Trek has taken it to another level and has a different tone, but in a way, that’s been, I think, really satisfying.”

“We’ve seen the whole thing." “David Lynch is one of the great film masters of my lifetime. I think this is the pure heroin version of David Lynch and I’m excited to put it out.”
“The thing about Twin Peaks, and this new version of Twin Peaks, is it rewards close watching." "It was an original social media discussion show before the tools of fan engagement really existed. That’s one reason why David is so particular about secrecy. It will really reward close watching and putting things together over time.” “It’s designed to be a close-ended one-time event.”
“I don’t know whether we’re going to have a traditional trailer...” “You might start seeing some filmed pieces coming out but there definitely won’t be trailers that give away all the big plot points as is traditional in the movie business.”
"… the core of it is Agent Cooper’s odyssey back to Twin Peaks.”
they owe us fans atleast that much,i can tell them how much this season sucks and ask them what the hell they were thinking
