A list of puns related to "Dark Dimension"
About when do they start letting the other 99.9% of us in?
There has been talk about this possibility. Always wondered if it could actually be a real theory?
Just curious how long this is going last to decide what I need to level and do the char auto heal next day?
Strange as it may sound, DD may be one of my favorite parts of the game. Despite how brutal and humitliating it is, and how utterly rage inducing it is, I like the challenge and strategy. Clearing the last node of each section is very satisying.
I however am not an endgame player, or even close to a spender. My roster was built with sweat, tears, rage and many hours of grind. So need less to say DD is more than a struggle for me.
Now all that being said, there is nothing in this game more frustrating than spending 40 mins (or much more) in a node and making great progress only for the damn thing to FREEZE!, not just occasionally but often. Numerous times a day!! Yet still here I am slogging away at it again and again. Pocket Dimension is worse. Sometimes life can also decide to interfere. 45min in the same node and all is going well but I could be here for awhile longer, "oh no!" household emergency here needs my immediate attention welp there goes my game.
So , i suggest a small but simple very helpful idea. Allow us to retreat from a battle in DD and save our progress. It would count the same as if we been defeated. The team will be counted as a defeat and require heals or revives as normal. This would allow us to control the time we invest in DD and allow us to save a little sanity by atleast securing some progress made.
With the effort it takes to unlock these characters, it's arguably "more" difficult to get them than a standard legendary. Once we get them unlocked, I think that they should be treated as "unofficial" legendaries. Meaning, they don't get the legendary tag, but can be used in nodes with a legendary restriction (like the final nodes of DD4). Thoughts?
Greetings Commanders,
The fight for Alliance supremacy is a battle that must be fought through cooperation across the Alliance ranks and today, we're briefing everyone on several updates to improve the rewards reaped from your teamwork. We've also got the lowdown on character availability, stout Blitzes, and weekly events that'll act as a catalyst for success.
Alliance Donations and Stark Tech have been tools for Alliances for some time now, but with more active Alliances than ever in MARVEL Strike Force, we want to update the features to help improve Alliance progress for new and veteran Commanders alike. Our goal is to reduce the time it takes new Alliances to level up and lower the cost of Stark Tech for all. Here's what's coming with our forthcoming Version 5.9 Release:
Alliance Donations
The first big update you'll notice is we'll be doubling Alliance XP rewards from Alliance Donations for the Basic, Premium, and Elite donations, as well as the Alliance XP reward for the Daily Objective donation. Additionally, the cost of making Power Core Donations and refreshing your Alliance Donations will be reduced.
When these improvements go live, you'll likely notice an increase in the Alliance XP required to hit Alliance Donation milestones. However, the new double XP payouts will compensate for that change and then some. Basically, after the first milestone you'll be able to hit milestones with fewer players needing to contribute.
Stark Tech
Tony Stark's powerful line of Stark Tech will also get an update. In addition to the above improvements, the cost to upgrade your Stark Tech will be reduced for all Stark Tech levels and especially for the early levels.
Weβve got some big news regarding the Doctor Strange βWhat Ifβ¦?β costume, which is currently available to preview in the game. The dev team collectively loves the episode of βWhat Ifβ¦?β where Stephen Strange went down a dark path, and we moved quickly to create the associated costume.
However, while we were making plans to release the costume, the team also started working on some exciting new content, which is currently scheduled to be released next year. We realized that the version of Doctor Strange from βWhat Ifβ¦?β would fit in perfectly with that content as a new character. So, in the near future, the costume for Doctor Strange will be removed, but then return as a brand new playable character in 2022!
Weβre not quite

Of the 5 Spideys, which one or two, would probably be best to take into DD. Looking at their kits I'm thinking OG Spider-Man. He gets evades, defense down and slows, and has a stun.
Curious what others are thinking.

so in NWH we see strange vs spidey in the mirror dimension and strange is able to manipulate building orientations and stuff, changing the direction of gravity etc, basically those cool stuff that kaecilius and the ancient one could also do. so does that mean that he also draws power from the dark dimension?
I think dark dimensions are actually kind of fun and it keeps interesting goals to shoot for.
But I don't see why each one isn't repeatable every week or month. Similar to Raid SL has their doom tower reset each month, the nodes could also change to make it more interesting each month! Or after you complete twice, then each month it resets with the nodes having different team requirements that change each month/week. There is a lot to do with Dark Dimension game mode and they just sit there as wasted space after completing twice.
Not saying the rewards should be the same as the first two times you complete, but a gold or training orb or gold gear orb per node would be nice. Even partial orbs would be something.
Iβve seen a bunch of ppl use Shuri, Phoenix, Sinister, Collosus, and Emma to get through the Global part of DD3. Are they good the best?
What levels should I work towards for the toons so I can get through DD3 Global?
And how do you level up Phoenix so she becomes effective? Read not to build her up a lot because you want her to die, so what should I do with her. In terms of T4, Tier, etc.
Thanks.
I think we should have a DD event a week before DD5 is released that reopens at least one of the previous dark dimensions that players can complete for the rewards. Even at half the original rewards it is definitely worth it for both scopley and the players. I know itβd help a lot with my current gold and orange catalyst situation. And only allowing the rewards to be acquired for a single week would probably make some players buy the DD health packs so they can still make money. I donβt think it would break the game or scopleys pocket as the rewards will only provide a slight boost in the progression to DD5 (mainly gold).
Just thought that reaching DD5 and dormamu should come with an event to temporarily bring back the past dark dimensions.
Edit: they could also sell a dark dimension pass for 20-25$ that would allow rewards to be acquired a third time. That way they for sure get their money and the players get rewards that are equal to the the $ amount they are spending
Iβm 31 and used to be a massive fan of the show and TGC. But I stopped watching at GX and eventually lost interest in the franchise.
Watched the Dark Side of Dimensions film recently purely because I had nothing better to do and had an amazing nostalgia trip.
So I did a search of any recent games and came across Master Duel which is supposed to launch this winter so looking forward to it. I did try Duel Links a few years ago but I wasnβt a fan of the reduced life points and monster zones. I used to play with 8000LP with friends back when I was in school.
If we do get apocalypse eventually in dark dimension, it would be sick (not accurate to any comic) to make the other 4 his horse men.
Trying to pick a cosmic team to build for DD3, but Iβd like it to keep going through these raids for as long as possible.
Options:
Eternals (probably a lock at this point)
IW (No Warlock)
Deathpool
Kestrel
Thanos
Dadbros
Invisible Woman
Minn-Erva
Maybe itβs better to use the full IW so I have them? Then fill in the last slot? But Iβd like to level both Eternals cos theyβre great, you know?
We saw in Spider-Man No Way Home that Doctor Strange distorted reality in the mirror dimension like The Ancient One used to. And it was described that it was only possible when drawing power from the dark dimension.
After falling through a funhouse mirror into another dimension, I ended up in a very unusual place which I had begun to call "The Dark Carnival'' in my own mind, for obvious reasons. Here, the weather was always black and cloudy, the sky a perpetual thunderhead with lightning crashing down in the distance. My entire existence had been reduced to an empty fairground where I wandered looking desperately for a way out.
My best hope was to find a ladder, since the funhouse mirror which acted as a portal between worlds was located inconveniently on the ceiling of the funhouse. The problem was there were no ladders to be found anywhere.
I walked through the carnival, my heart pounding, sweat pouring down the sides of my face despite the chill in the air. Leaves crunched beneath my feet as I walked through the abandoned midway. The sky rumbled and boomed constantly with thunder in the distance but otherwise it was completely silent.
Passing stalls with flashing lights and games with nobody there to play them, I saw the booth where I had hesitated over a game of darts. I couldnβt help but feel a wave of regret. Maybe if Iβd just stayed and played that game I never would have ended up here. Ted and Joe might have arrived and talked me out of that damn haunted house. I wished I had never laid eyes on the place.
Suddenly, I felt a shiver run through me as if someone were watching me. Hairs stood up on the back of my neck as I spun around and saw a shadow ducking down behind a booth nearby.
There was a sound of movement from another place as well, on the other side of me, as if small animals were following me, but I saw no one. As I searched for objects of use - crates, chairs, boxes, or anything, I realized there was absolutely nothing which could be stacked to create a makeshift ladder. The mirror in the Hall of Horrors was up on the ceiling only ten feet away, but it might as well have been on another planet for all the good that did me.
I realized quite a bit of time had passed since I had arrived here. Getting desperate, I used my phone to dial 9-1-1, no longer caring if my circumstances sounded implausible or ridiculous. It didnβt work. It went straight back to a dial tone as if I had never called anyone. The same thing happened when I tried my parents and my friends and anyone else I had

For example, the presence of an 'Antiverse' would explain the anti-matter problem. At the inception of the universe, as reality split into two domains, any tiny discrepancy of how much matter/anti-matter went this way or that would result in (following annihiliation) an excess of matter in one domain, and an excess of anti-matter in the other.
Further explanations for dark energy, dark matter, the role of conscioussness, why there are redundant groups of particles in the standard model, and inflation are included.
And there's a stab at a new way to consider quantum mechanics.
Any thoughts/criticisms/abuse very welcome.

Right now, we all know there's really no reason to play any of the Dark Dimensions after we've beaten them the second time, unless we're bored, or want to try out new characters in them. We get nothing but wasted time when we do this. I think the rewards for each node should reset once a month, or even just reset with each new season (strike pass or mojo's mayhem). This would give a nice boost to our economy without breaking anything or being OP. I'd definitely go through DD1 and DD2 (f*&# DD3) once a month just to get some extra gold.

now that Mokuba currently isn't being threatened by Pegasus, and assuming Kaiba survives the trip to see Atem at the end of DSOD, do you think that guy would ever willingly accept death?
he has access to Atem (who is possibly in some sort of "afterlife-dimension"), so unless Kaiba died to meet Atem again, Kaiba doesn't need to die to duel Atem for more rematches. and that dimension cube and space station possibly gives Kaiba access to more dead people that he may want to duel. what if, when Kaiba is about to die, he doesn't die on Earth, and "dies" by moving himself to his own personal afterlife-dimension using the space-station?
he made a very close hologram replica of Atem. is there anything stopping technology from advancing so much that Kaiba can eventually upload his soul into a non-perishable body/place? (it already happened to Noah in the anime continuity).
do you think Kaiba would gracefully accept death, or he would do some wacky stuff to avoid it? do you Mokuba would copy his brother, or just leave Seto to his wackiness? alternatively, do you think someone would manage to kill Kaiba?

"Mr. Howard?"
I shouldn't have answered my door.
"You opened another one?" I asked, knowing the answer.
"Yes, sir. Could you come with us, please." The uniformed woman gestured towards the waiting car. On the drive to the base, I texted my assistant manager to go ahead and open the shop without me and to put the chocolate doughnuts on a three-fer special.
"So who are you?" I asked the uniform as she drove.
"Sir?"
"Lieutenant Jameson usually picks me up."
"Captain Marcia Gomez, sir."
"Gerald Howard."
She actually smiled. "I know, sir. You're kinda famous back at the base."
I really didn't have anything to say to that. Instead I said, "So, what is it this time? Another racist dictator? An insane monarch? Or maybe something different? Like a crime boss? Or perhaps a greedy CEO?" I brightened a bit. "Or maybe a benevolent statesman? Or, heaven forbid, another baker?"
The captain grimaced. "Might be best until we're in front of the colonel."
Well, crap. Dictator, again.
A forty minute drive and a quick text from my assistant informing me they already ran out of donuts later, we arrived at the base. Typical military base, complete with barracks, motor pool, administrative buildings, and parade grounds. And one other special building. Gomez and I headed there.
Colonel Drake Slaughter's appearance didn't really match his name. Slight and bespectacled, he was impatiently waiting in the building's foyer. "Gerald, about fucking time," he barked. His voice did match his name.
"I was getting ready to open my shop, colonel."
"Hmmph. Waste of goddam talent," he grunted and did an about face and strode towards the building's interior expecting us to follow. An old argument between us. Apparently I shared some of the same qualities as those madmen from across the quantum veil and the colonel thought that would translate into a brilliant military career. I disagreed. I wasn't a fan of guns or violence.
Was that the only difference?
"So what is it this time, colonel?"
"You'll see. Your asshole of a counterpart is here." He opened his office door. Two other soldiers, armed, were flanking a chair. And in that chair, bound...
There before me was me. Oh, there were some differences. His hair was longer and more gray. The lines on his face were deeper. Dried blood below his nostrils. His bare arms had scars I didn't possess. And his eyes.
His eyes had the look of a wild animal, caged ag

Rewatching Dr Strange, and firstly I forgot how much I love this movie. The thought I had comes during the fight the ancient one has with the protagonist (can't spell his name) and I noticed even though she has dormamus mark when she enters the fight, she let's it fade and then uses the standard gold magic. If she was evil she could have ended it there but she chose not too. Was she simply prolonging her life waiting for Steven to be ready?
Just wondering, I complete DD2 for the first time over the weekend, and now Iβm seeing times rewards. So the next time I enter am I going to be put on a 5 minute timer during battles or does it just want me to complete the dimension in a certain time to claim the rewards?
Note to mods: If you end up deleting this post for whatever reason, can you please pm me the exact violation so that I can make it compliant? Thank you and sorry.
I have some questions about the above mentioned things in lore that can hopefully help clarify them a bit for me and others that might be confused. I will try to break the questions into sections by character(?) The reason I made one long post and not several smaller posts is to better keep track of answers and not flood the sub-reddit.
Note: This will be a long post, do not at all feel pressured to touch on every point, some questions will be asked for each "being" so there will be some repeats and might even counter previous questions.
After each series of questions I wrote what little information I have related to them to help people avoid posting known information and help them with their own thoughts/understandings on the subject.
If this post blows up I might try to edit in info from the replies with the body text to help future readers.
Thank you for your time!
The Traveler
What exactly is The Traveler? Is it the source of the light, or just a battery/generator/conduit for it? Is The Traveler as ship, a giant machine or a "living" entity? Was it made by something or is it like the Vex who are actually the white goo and made their robot bodies for themselves? Is it older then the universe or did it come after?
We have been told/shown that The Traveler is fully capable of acting under its own will, communicating with individuals(Speaker lore card, Hawkmoon quests, original campaign). It has powers to warp and bend reality to its whims and even resurrect the dead to a degree.
The Pyramids
What are they? Are they batteries/generators/conduits for the Darkness? Are they ships like they seem to be, and if so who made them? The Veil(If those are actually a thing)? Are they sentient like The Traveler? Were they the ones speaking to use through our ghost and at the end of Shadowkeep? Is there a "main" Pyramid ship (I remember in the original campaign ending we see one Pyramid that is clearly bigger then the rest)? Are they a hive mind or cooperative individuals like the Reapers from Mass Effect? Are the outright hostile to life or simply following their own "views" on life sort of like religions that have their own ideas on how people should live their lives?
We have been inside two Pyramids and the insides are clearly designed for human sized beings. They have steps, doors,
