A list of puns related to "Dardania"
Hey all,
Have you heard of this new fund called Dardania Ventures out of SF. We spoke to them for an investment and they seem to have a great offering and theyโre super founder-friendly or so they say. It turns out they offer their port cos access to a variety of different modules that theyโve built thru their sister tech company to supercharge growth ๐คWould love to know if anyone else has spoken to them or knows anything about them...
Thanks Yโall!
I this video link I cover my lengthy 1v1 as Lycia vs Dardania. High quality play from me and my enemy. A great experience overall.
Greetings and salutations fellow total warriors!
Today we are glad to have an opportunity to share the "BALANCE CHANGES" that we suggest for Phthia and Dardania factions. Enjoy!
When suggesting our proposals, we had in mind a specific unit in that category that was performing good, but not too good and tried to balance other units to be of approximately the same strength level, while still having the distinctive difference. We also paid attention to the design philosophy of a faction and tried to implement their strength and weaknesses when calculating if the unit was balanced.
Mirรซbrema.
I've got a question. A unification with the motherland is not possible due to the Kosovan constitution, which does not allow any kind of territorial change whatsoever.
Would you be willing to give up the hope of unification with Albania if Kosova officially changes its name to Dardania?
Hi Dardania players, from your games and experience, could you describe and recommend which units were great, which were weak, which helpful, what were your tactics and battle plans, which army compositions you recommend for early, mid and late game? What you used in sieges? And so on.
Any of your stories and battle experience are welcomed.
The origin of the name "Kosovo" is slavic although we all know that Kosovo is >90% not slavic. Would an alternative Albanian name for Kosovo then not be more reasonable? Why? Why not?
I have no idea what I'm doing wrong here or why the game lets another faction confederate Paris when its one of Hectors mechanics to gain Priam's favor.
I'm at turn 85, have become Heir of Troy and yet, no Paris. Is this some kind of bug?
So my first campaign with Troy so far is a blast. I really like the infantry focus and the chariots, they are damn good. Im playing as Dardania and I really like the cool mechanics like talking to dead. Yeah itโs not the greatest you just get buffa but I find myself using them frequently and the special missions are a great way to increase rep with gods.
Currently a force lead by me Hector and Paris invaded bits of Greece and the script for me to side with Troy happened. Achilles has a beef with me. I took a city and a village next to his capital and my main general is now stuck there waiting for reinforcements. 3 times Achilles took out my reinforcements before they could get to land, and even though itโs frustrating I am glad the AI is improved. Aeneus is holed up in a castle with sieges a constant threat, waiting for the damned reinforcements to make it. I prepared a final wave of reinforcements full elite dardanian inf and chariots, if this one also cannot make it I am gonna start evacuating because surprisingly menelaus and agamemnon are wrecking paris and Hector. I feel like soon the tables will be turned and it will be us on the defensive. No matter what the damned reinforcements has to make it this time.
Wish me luck Trojans.
A osht mundesia me ndrru emrin e shtetit? Nese osht e mundshme a jeni pro a kunder per me bo Dardania?
Hello!
I've re-fought a battle with Apaesos five times (10 turns into campaign, 100 turns into Greek and veteran TW player). I've a full stack army in ambush stance that intercepts a 14 stack Apaesos army. We even have 9 reinforcements from my local settlement. The auto-resolve predicts an overwhelming victory with 9:1 odds. Each time I fight this battle (and even encircling their town) my entire army routs almost immediately. I started using Dardanian Rabble/Mob with 'excellent morale', 45, but also 'expendable'. I swapped these for coastal club/axe fighters, who also have 45 morale. All the enemy units, shielded/young spears, have 55+ moral.
Are Dardanian units cowards? Why are they listed as having 'excellent morale' but lower stats than the most basic enemy unit? I've even tried a build stacking javelins but I cannot beat these first engagements without auto-resolving. Surely these stats must be incorrect?
Any info/tips on Dardanians is much appreciated!

>Albanians also refer to Kosovo as Dardania, the name of a Roman province formed in 165 BC, which covered the territory of modern Kosovo. The name is derived from ancient tribe of Dardani, ultimately from proto-Albanian word dardha/dardฤ which means "pear"
Pรซrshรซndetje te gjitheve!
As my spelling is under all critics I will write in english to minimize the risk for confusion. So I am thinking about packing my bags and going back to my roots for several reasons including but not limited to improving my mother tongue, seeing more of my country & meeting new people and I have to alternatives as far as I'm concerned:
To study one year in a University
To join a NGO and give back to my country and people.
The latter is hard to find any info about since most of the results from google are outdated so my question is if anyone here has any info about any possible projects taking place after the summer that fall under NGO? Where is not that important although I like the prospect of living close to my family in Prishtine. I have a bachelor and almost a master in technical sustainable development so anything related to that would be awesome. I am thinking about staying one year
Y do you guys use the Serbian word for Kosovo?
I mean everyone else uses the Serbian word for it, but it seems kinda weird that people who had lived in said region for thousands of years wouldn't have a word for said region in their language.
I reckon people who have lived in said region for thousands of years would have a name in their respective language for it.
Since as far as I know Kosovo doesn't mean anything in Albanian, well exept from the name for said region.
Not trying to disrespect anyone or deny anything nor claim that Kosovo isn't a sovereign country, it definitely isn't run by Serbia, just genuinely curious, just wanted to see your views on it.
(Pls don't ban me, I hope I didn't break Rule 2)
The funeral director was asking us what we think Mum should wear in her casket.
Mum always loved to wear sarongs (fabric wraps that go around the torso and drape downward a bit like a long skirt would), so my uncle suggested that she wear a sarong in there.
The funeral director looked a bit confused, as did some of our family members, to which my uncle added:
"What's sarong with that?"
I started laughing like an idiot. He was proud of it too. The funeral director was rather shocked. We assured her, and our more proper relatives, that Mum would've absolutely loved the joke (which is very true).
His delivery was perfect. I'll never forget the risk he took. We sometimes recall the moment as a way help cushion the blows of the grieving process.
--Edit-- I appreciate the condolences. I'm doing well and the worst is behind me and my family. But thanks :)
--Edit-- Massive thanks for all the awards and kind words. And the puns! Love 'em.
